Classified Vehicles

Yep little 10 oz bottles. The master fabricator Glorbes would use everyday objects. He inspires me. I cut the top off and just started building some shapes I like in the back for the thrusters. The foam board made the back heavy. I had to balance it out with some weight in the front so the engines don’t just fall down.

Image

I also made the back too heavy so I made a few stabilizing fins for the bottom that will remove the teetering.

Image

I also changed how the cockpit opens mostly because I liked the way it looked.

Image

I start painting tomorrow. Thanks for the kind words.

If I could find a clear globe-like structure I’d attempt a Trouble Bubble flight pod. Definitely doing a HISS next.

Love it! Are you going to add some clear plastic for the canopy windows?

Thank you. I love it too. Yes I am going to glue in clear plastic. My biggest head stretcher are the decals now. It needs little pops of color. But I’m not in a rush. I wanna make it look sweet!

Wow that is night and day. Those engines really pop with a little bit of color.

 It sucks that I'm over 2,000 miles away from my color printer. I could have a sheet of stickers or water slide decals minus white for you in an instant.

Edit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/184837346066?c ... 0784be58b4

Not my sale but considering they have the white backs can beat this for $20 in 1/12 scale.

Thanks for the tip. It’s the white I wasn’t quite getting.

I’ve got an idea I’ll do a test and see how it turns out.

Damn, GiJoefan312 is one of the best figure custom makers I've ever seen. That Awe Striker he's building is incredible. Makes me wonder if we ever get a GI Joe Haslab and if we do if it would be a midsize vehicle and driver set.

Wait. I think we’re overlooking JT’s very important hint. At long last we’re all going to get that highly desired Uncle Buck figure as part the Classified Joe line. Let’s just hope he’s not a Cobra Island exclusive.

Drunken birthday clowns and art-house beret creeps of the world beware...I just hope he comes with a snow shovel and hatchet.

"Here's 20 bucks, go down town and have a Target scalper gnaw that smile off your face!"

John Candy DID manage a Target in "Career Opportunities," which was also a John Hughes film.

Yeah! He's made tons of excellent scratch built things. I think my favorite is his beefed up take on the VAMP, but that AWE Striker he's got in progress is astounding too.

Captioned GIF are the best form of forum communication. There is little doubt about the humorous tone or intent of the post.
