NECA: TMNT Archie Comic Series

Well, the guy is saying it will be finished this summer, but I am unsure the logistics of it being shipped, since he’s in Russia.

Would be great if it was just released digitally. Pretty sure the uncolored 2-4 are already done and released.

My buddy had an extra Turtles in Disguise pack that he's been trying to sell me for months, and I've been holding off, saying that between the NECA Mirage, 90s movie, and Super 7 that I had enough sets of the Turtles. Then I got to thinking about the Archie line and the possibility that in the next few years they would do Armaggon, Verminator X, Ninjara, Future Raph, and Future Don. Ended up telling him I'd need that set after all because if they announce those 5 any time soon, I need to have a full roster of Future Shark Trilogy figures.

Has it been confirmed that Jagwar, Dreadmon, and Man Ray will be available later on places like BBTS, EE, etc. Or was that just assumed?

Only cartoon stuff is Target exclusive, just first release at Haulathon.

I can get Archie Slash and Mirage Fugitoid and Renet at any online store and my LCS, so I'd say it's a hard 'yes' on all the comic figures being available elsewhere later.

NECA has said it's a timed release with Target. It'll be everywhere else later in the year.

I figured that was the case. But I realized I was just assuming. I didn't want to miss out on these just because I assumed they'd have a wider release. I knew, as you mentioned SalemCrow, that other comic figures were at multiple retailers (I even picked up Fugitoid today at a LCS).

But didn't know if it for certain applied to these.

Just making sure. Didn't want to miss out if I needed to be tracking these down now.

There are licencing hurdles, just like with Usagi. Doesn't necessarily mean we won't get her, they were able to make it work with Usagi. But yeah, it's less likely because of that.

On the plus side: I got Dreadmon yesterday and he's a pain in the ass to stand on his toes in a somewhat natural looking pose... so if we don't get Ninjara, I don't have to deal with that again

I'm all caught up with everything other than the accessory set now... which was the thing I wanted the most out of this entire experience. Way to disappoint as always NECA
