Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
I'd be content with having everything remain all in this thread, given that they're doing turtle-adjacent characters and that would mean the non-turtle knockoff figures would belong in a different thread forum entirely, not under the Turtle forum. Plus there's really not a lot coming out from this/these companies, so why have 2 slow threads instead of one that has moderately decent movement. Just my 2 cents.

It was all getting lumped in here because this is the thread where it all started.
Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
We already have one in the General Toys forum, you'll just have to go back some pages to find it.christianpyro wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 3:35 amWe’ll my bad then. I thought it was two lines made by the same company, and one was for unlicensed products and the other for licensed products (that they don’t have a license for). I’ll make a new thread Monday for FuRay Planet.

They tower over Crocker, and that's just wrong to me.

Yeah, the tiger and wolf are both quite tall.Night Wolf wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 5:39 amMeh, ill pass on cat ninja and bunny samurai. their tiger guy was too tall too for my taste.

Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
Oh, that's weird. Werewolf wasn't going in my Hensonverse display like Crocker, but I was hoping to use the tiger as Tiger Claw or a two-armed Katmandu (OH NO, NOW I'M THINKING ABOUT GETTING A SECOND TO MAKE ONE OF THEM FOUR-ARMED......well, at least then him being super tall would be BETTER...)
Hopefully bunny isn't taller than the movie Turtles (sans ears, at least, haha).

Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
The size difference between the FuRay guys and the Fury Toys guys doesn't bother me too much yet since FuRay has been going for larger animals in general. What will bug me is if their Rabbit is just as tall as their first 3 figures as he should be a good bit smaller and in general closer to the size of the Fury Toys turtles.

Agreed...I don't want an oversized bunny on my shelf.-Fenrys- wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 3:01 pmThe size difference between the FuRay guys and the Fury Toys guys doesn't bother me too much yet since FuRay has been going for larger animals in general. Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
I wouldn't mind him being a little larger considering that rabbits are generally larger than turtles, but yea, I don't want him to be 7-8" tall. Closer to 5.5" or 6" to the top of his ears would be my preference.Robogeek28 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 3:28 pmAgreed...I don't want an oversized bunny on my shelf.-Fenrys- wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 3:01 pmThe size difference between the FuRay guys and the Fury Toys guys doesn't bother me too much yet since FuRay has been going for larger animals in general. Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
Even with different sculptors, I feel like two separate lines is pointless given the aesthetic. They should just pick a size for both and stick with it. I'd buy more if I knew they scaled with the turtles personally.

Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
It's not just 2 separate lines though, it's 2 distinct companies. Maestro Union makes FuRay Planet (Crocker, William, Weng, Rabbit), Fury Toys makes Samurai Force (Spring, Autumn, Master) and Abyss Force (unnamed shark).S.W.O.R.D. Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
Although supposedly the designer for Crocker is the designer of the Turtles, while the wolf, tiger, and bunny are someone different.-Fenrys- wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:02 pmIt's not just 2 separate lines though, it's 2 distinct companies. Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
Definitely confusing, especially since FuRay and Fury are pretty similar, but a lot of people seem to either ignore or don't realize that aside from that designer working on both lines, it's 2 distinct companies making their own figure lines and not 2 lines from a single company.Robogeek28 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:08 pmAlthough supposedly the designer for Crocker is the designer of the Turtles, while the wolf, tiger, and bunny are someone different.-Fenrys- wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:02 pmIt's not just 2 separate lines though, it's 2 distinct companies. Yeah, the confusion is completely understandable, and probably Crocker's fault.-Fenrys- wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:11 pmDefinitely confusing, especially since FuRay and Fury are pretty similar, but a lot of people seem to either ignore or don't realize that aside from that designer working on both lines, it's 2 distinct companies making their own figure lines and not 2 lines from a single company.Robogeek28 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:08 pmAlthough supposedly the designer for Crocker is the designer of the Turtles, while the wolf, tiger, and bunny are someone different.

Re: Fury Toys Samurai Turtles
You're not wrong haha, didn't help that Spring and Crocker were revealed and released around the same time. One big distinction between the 2 companies is the involvement of 5ktoys with Fury Toys while I don't think they have anything to do with Maestro Union/FuRay Planet.Robogeek28 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:14 pmYeah, the confusion is completely understandable, and probably Crocker's fault.-Fenrys- wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:11 pmDefinitely confusing, especially since FuRay and Fury are pretty similar, but a lot of people seem to either ignore or don't realize that aside from that designer working on both lines, it's 2 distinct companies making their own figure lines and not 2 lines from a single company.Robogeek28 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:08 pm
