Splinter is hitting local comic shops and toy stores in the US. One branch of my local toy shop got it, waiting for it to hit the one near me.

Got Universal Splinter the other day. Despite still not getting why he is Van Helsing while his sons are monsters, it’s a super cool figure. He doesn’t really come off as “movie” to me, just more of a realistic version of the character.

April is, and forever continues to be, the worst in the line. Really hope she gets another shot in a non-movie character specific version.

Not in a hurry to get Splinter, would be nice to have the 4 turtles and Shredder faster, though. They really spread these out.

It's seeming like to me that the non-Turtles in this line aren't as strong as the turtles themselves, but I guess we'll see what Shredder is like, and look forward to the wave 2 turtles that are coming.

Not sure if anyone is still looking, but I've noticed two of my local Walmarts restocking on Franken-Raph. Mummy Mikey's shown up a couple times as well, but he sells pretty fast.

It's so interesting to me to see which character makes people crack and start buying the whole set. Even though I'm not into Universal Monsters generally speaking, Raph instantly made me take notice of the new series. I started paying attention to the releases and then when I saw the Leonardo packaging and the figure's execution then I instantly crumbled and started buying them. Leo made me break.

For others, it was Michelangelo.

But the packaging it's window box was key to this series imo.

I don’t normally bother with the turtles themselves when it comes to turtles figures but this is the one time i’m only fussed about picking the turtles up.

Probably still my least favourite Turtle in this line but I will say this... this commercial made him look a whole lot better.
