That storage shell is pretty sweet. I was pretty lukewarm on this figure initially, but now I'm likely to grab one whenever it comes around.

EDIT: Pre-order listing just went up at Big Bad. I'm sure more will follow.

BBTS sent me an email. I looked through the photos, got to the one with the open shell with the tools inside and hit the preorder button.

Looks like Don is likely the werewolf or the Creature from the Black Lagoon if you look closely on the box silhouette. The last character with the hat I assume is either Casey or Splinter. I can appreciate all the detail and accessories that went into Leo, I just genuinely don't like the design or the monster choice, and so far Raph and Mikey are the only ones that appeal to me without seeing Don. And just getting half or 3/4 of the turtles that I genuinely like just makes me think why start the line at all? Definitely a lot of nice accessories for what Leo is though.

That last one looks like Shredder to me. Going by the shape and you can kinda make out the mouthpiece.

Trevor said in the Fwooshcast with Veebs that it was something to the effect of the painter going off the original concept art to create the box art, as opposed to the actual figure. The figure has some hair there, but it's not as prominent or red.

I would think the Invisible Man over Van Helsing since he’s not a monster. Wolf man or Creature is likely the other one. Both were monsters in the original playmates line. I’ll be curious if they double up any turtles or if more of the supporting cast will get monster-fied this time.

Kinda weird how much more stuff Leo comes with for the same price as Raph. Sure, he's a bit shorter. But he's also a bit bulkier, seems like about the same amount of plastic as Raph. Raph came with 2 extra pairs of hands and his sai, that's it. Not complaining though...

I suppose if the turtles are monsters, it would make sense for Shredder to be a monster hunter like Van Helsing. Invisible Man seems like a better guess though since he’s a shadow warrior and all.
