NECA: TMNT Loot Crate Series

Asked LC about my 2nd Danny movie crate. They told me to pick out something from their currently available crates that I want. In addition to those crates not being anything I want, they're also about half the price of what I paid for mine. Told them I'd just like my money back instead. Radio silence from there on out.

I got an email off of them stating my final crate is still being processed.

Are you in US, where the last crate is arcade, or outside US, where I guess cartoon is the last crate?

Outside, so I’m waiting on the last 2 figures still.

Hopefully Loot Crate dies and NECA no longer feels like it needs to “protect” these releases. Seems enough people got screwed that NECA should just re-release some of these again. Make some minor modification if you must, but this is dumb. And I realize it’s hardly a makeup to say “Hey! Remember that thing our sister company charged you for but never delivered? Well, good news! You can buy it again!” It’s just better than doing nothing.

Keep on them. I was told my refund request for what I had cancelled was "moved up the ladder" in CS to get it processed, and then nothing. I eventually got a garbage crate that was less than I paid and now I have to try and sell it to get SOME money out of it.

They sent me two of the same "random garbage" crate for my unfulfilled Firefly subscription (all crates advertised were fulfilled, but they just never finished that year's expected quota).

I was very hesitant to take another chance, and am glad I got all the TMNT stuff I paid for, but this can't be a thing anymore. Especially not from the same company that keeps screwing people over, time and time again.

Sharing this for anyone in Loot Crate limbo. At least this person (and at least one other on Facebook) are being told they're still getting their crates, but who knows with this company at this point? Keep on them, I guess:

My last crate turned up today, 2 figures and a badge, i’m not even sure why they bothered putting the badge in to be honest.

I ordered a replacement already from someone on FB, but would totally like to have the socks and a shirt that fits, if mine ever arrives.

I’d have been happy with the oven gloves but eh, whatever, I at least got the figures.

For what it's worth the oven gloves aren't rated for 350 degrees making the virtually useless.

My Armaggon crate finally arrived today. I'm less happy to have it, and more happy that it's OVER. I never want to do another Loot Crate again.

Just so everyone knows, after lots of back and forth with lootcrate they ended up refunding me $30 since my last crate was missing basically everything except the pin and the figures. I threatened to go to visa if I was not refunded within 5 business days and they refunded me. If you do plan on going to your credit card company to fight the charge be prepared with all the dates and content of your emails to with loot crate in advance as they will require it.

I feel the same. I got my last one after they said it was canceled and tried sending me a different crate. No email saying it was sent either. When I got it, I just felt nothing. Just glad it's over and hope no new crates are announced.
