I've hit a few decent poses with him, but yeah.... every time I take him down thinking 'it'll be fun to repose him' because I love that variant so much, I'm just taken aback all over again at how awful he is to pose. Everything feels ..bad. He somehow doesn't feel like he poses even as well as other figures in the line. I'm afraid of damaging him so he feels extra finicky just for that reason. Just overall a bad experience every time.Detrimental_Fig wrote: Samurai Leo is a very special figure. Standing on the shelf, I go "yeah that's pretty cool" and smile. Then I pick it up and then realize what a futzy, frustrating mess it is.
But I still want him on the shelf and I'm ashamed to admit that if they made an apology Leo, and got everything right, I'd buy him all over again just to have a better version. But he's also the catalyst figure for me deciding I am pretty much not collecting S7 products anymore.
You probably just missed it but it was actually discussed that his hands and heads are not swappable.Kallor8 wrote: I bit the bullet since there just wasn't any real info on mix and match possibilities
Also something that was discussed earlier but it's very likely that this difference largely stems from the regular Leo being produced at S7's regular Chinese factory and Samurai Leo being produced at a new factory (Vietnam, I believe).Kallor8 wrote: Regular Leo feels like different company made him, it's very strange.
