Did I miss the boat on the recent 4-pack of turtles? Was just wanting a set of the cartoon versions and didn't know if it would have be ebay or something

Sort of. If you mean the style guide color ones (bright green vs earthy green) without the trench coats, they were just released last winter/early spring as part of a Target retail event. My Target still has a few sets pegwarming surprisingly, but I think over time they either sold are were packed away as the event ended. For a while they were going for just a smidge above retail on eBay. I think because they were pretty expensive ($150) and you couldn't use coupons on them they didn't move in every area. You could troll your local Targets but if they are out of stock they likely won't get more in and vulturing eBay would be your best bet.

Is there a legitimate reason the D&D set is $100, but the TMNT set is $150?

Because people will pay it? I don’t think the two are all that comparable. The D&D figures are retro style 5 POA (or similar) figures so they should be cheaper than the TMNT set.

I would suspect there's less of the D&D set being made, too. I could be totally wrong, but they know TMNT will sell and probably have more units of those ready to go...

I gotta say this set looks like in passing on, its cool for those whobwant it, I just dont have the space or a place to put their un-mutated forms.

Damn, didn't even realise how small my wishlist has become with the recently announced SDCC 4-pack:

- Dirk Savage
- Mona Lisa
- Tempestra
- Lotus Blossom
- Oroku Saki
- Rex-1

Sure, I might consider characters like Bugman or the rest of Bebop & Rocksteady's gang... but I wouldn't put them on my wishlist.
