I managed to get Pidgeot and Toxtricity today here in the UK. They both look great. I have a feeling Grimmsnarl is going to be a pain to find, the case assortments here appear to me 1x Pidgeot, 1x Toxtricity, 2x Charizard.

I can't believe I didn't know about Epic Battle Venusaur up until recently. I used to have D-Arts on display, then changed him out for the Scale World because it was bigger, but now The Epic Battle figure is even bigger than that!

Love that pose on Red. He’s such a cool figure.

I use D-arts Venusaur too. Been tempted by some of the larger options but ultimately, my shelves are already crammed and he definitely wouldn’t fit without having to replace like 5-6 figures.

Just got that Venusaur myself. Are there any other Epic Battle figures due out? Venusaur and Gyrados are real standouts, particularly at this price point.

Venasour, Gyrados, and Dragonite are the only ones released so far. The link below is for an unkown upcoming one, presumably Rillaboom. There was also a large Lunala, Solgaleo, and Necrozma. I am not sure if they were part of this series though (some were made by the previous license holders and I think re-released under WCT).

Here's an image of what Rillaboom looks like (the figure itself has not been revealed):

I believe the Solgaleo, Lunala and Necrozma that WCT released were unique sculpts and not rereleases (they were very similar though). They were the 3 epic figures released in series 1 (quite hard to come by now I think). With Venusaur, Gyarados, Dragonite and Rillaboom, that would be 7 epic figures since WCT/Jazwares took over from Tomy. Worth also noting that we have the 8 larger scale articulated figures coming (Charizard, Lucario, Greninja, Blaziken, Articuno, Zapdos, Tyrannitar, Rayquaza) which might well double as Epic scale figures too.

Newwws. Some official shots of Charizard, one's been found at Target, and our first (small) look at other figures from the first assortment.

Video where the above screenshots were taken from. That's a pretty hefty box.

The 6" ones look really good! I'll probably get some of them, although I hooe there's some semblance of scale.

Charizard looks like a great alternative for those without D Arts version or who want something a little more sturdy.

I’ll almost definitely be in for Articuno and Greninja. The Tomy Greninja isn’t bad, but he’s tricky to stand and is a little large. Although do I sell him now while the iron is hot...?

And I’ve always wanted good versions of the original legendary birds.
