Re: Jakks Pacific World of Nintendo Figures
All this talk, I had to make one:

(I couldn't find a stand that would hold Mario's girth, lol)

There's a few more pics in my custom thread.
It was SUPER easy. A ML Vision cape (not sure which version, just bought the cheapest one off eBay - unfortunately, it came with the Vision figure that I have no use for
). It definitely didn't stay soft for long, hence the rough cut in one section. Had to dip it in the boiling water twice because of that (well, three times, to cut off the peg on the inside). Neck fit perfectly with no modding. Literally just removed the peg & shortened the cape.

I’m dying to get Bowser’s airship if it ever goes on sale
In Canada. I bought peach’s castle and Bowsers at full price and both ended up on sale, so I want to wait this out.

Re: Jakks Pacific World of Nintendo Figures
So, I'd only picked up 2.5" figures that would work with the 4": Goombas, Cheep-Cheeps, etc. Then I grabbed a Mario & Luigi to act as "pre-mushroom" versions (seen here, again, whoever you were - a BRILLIANT idea!). When I started to worry that we might not get all the Koopa Kids in 4", I started grabbing them as well (would love to find that multipack, though).
So...how expensive would it be to try to retroactively get things like the castles, a Peach, a Bowser, etcetera?
I definitely don't care about any characters not in 1, 2, 3, World, or 64, so I have no interest in going completist. But while I won't give up on the dream of a 4" collection I can be happy with, I feel like a 2.5" collection would also be cool to have.

Re: Jakks Pacific World of Nintendo Figures
I finally found the 2.5” Nabbit and he’s great but definitely makes me a a little aggravated. He’s got so much articulation? His hands and feet swivel, his hips are swivel hinge, and he has cuts at the shoulder. Why can’t we get a Mario and Luigi like that?! Even just swivel hinge at the hips and shoulders would satisfy me.
I guess I just have to hope they invest in new tooling for the movie figures.

That Roy gon be hot. The 2.5 inch sells for like 10 times MSRP on ebay, I can only imagine what the 4 inch will be like.

It sells like that because it has only ever been released at GameStop. You can pre-order the 4” Roy right now. As it should be.
