I have read that the eyes have an optical illusion where they are always looking at you.

I also read that!

The eyes on these seem to be inserted with clear plastic, so they follow you around as you see them. Neat idea, but I don't know if it was the right one. The car looks cool.

Touché ...

I may have read it here too. lol . But It didn't stick. I saw some pics of it in action on Facebook last night. That stuck. :D

I hope the Zelda figures pop up at Target. I have one Walmart that's "local" and the rest are a good drive away. Don't have the time to spend driving around looking for them. Walmart doesn't even have them up on their site (doubt the ever will).

yeah, I'm in a similar position: 1 local Walmart (terrible toy section) and every other Walmart or Target are over 30 minutes away. I went ahead and bought both Link and Zelda on Mercari for a decent price just to ensure I got them. If I ever see them in person, I'll probably grab a couple more just to support the line and maybe customize Link into my favorite armor sets from the game.

Man. I haven’t seen even a hint of the Wendy wave around here. Only new Nintendo stuff I’ve seen is the other new wave with the resculpted Mario and Koopa Troopa with the new shell. I grabbed the Troopa, but I’m afraid of this wave stinking up the pegs before the Wendy wave will get ordered and put out.

Toad looks nice but I'm not seeing a $20 toy there. The rest are creepy!

I want to know more about this eye business. I've seen pics where Mario's retinas are literally moved, and in a different place. Do the eyes move, or is it an optical illusion?

I’ve been finding the Zelda wave at some Walmarts between south Jersey and NEPA, some now might be the time to start looking if you want them.

Finally got Samus for myself. Happy to be done hunting for them.

I may have to drive around to see if I can find it. Just wish they'd go up at Target or Amazon or elsewhere. Don't like such a popular IP being limited to one store.

It’s Jakks, so I have to imagine these are going to get multiple releases considering the cost of new tooling. Someone else said they expect boxed releases with more accessories at some point, and I have to agree with that prediction.

That said, they’re so good I didn’t want to wait for that or chance that this is the one instance it doesn’t happen.

Exactly the reason I don't want to miss out.

Managed to snag a Link and Zelda for my brother and a Link for myself from my local WM last night, but that's all they had, unfortunately. Still on the hunt for my own Zelda and a Samus for both of us. It can be real tough to find 2 of each Jakks toy in my area. We are both collecting World of Nintendo and Sonic stuff, and I still haven't found myself a Charmy after over a month of looking since I found my brother one. My local stores aren't big on the whole restocking thing, they seem to put 1 case of Jakks stuff on the pegs and then wash their hands of it. Here's hoping I can at least find a Samus for my bro, as he's always been a huge Metroid fan.

Wish this Link and Zelda were in scale with the previous figures.

Caved and ordered Wendy from eBay. Saw a few remnants of the wave form the first time today at Target and B&N and decided the headache and time wasn’t worth it. I’ve still never seen Chaos in person and only have him because another local guy happened to find one. I’ve even stopped seeing restocks of that wave. I don’t have much more faith in this wave of WoN especially considering it’s shipping at the same time as the wave with resculpted Mario, so even if I find an employee to check the back for me, seems like a high chance it’s the Mario/Yoshi wave.
