I always liked that Prowl design. The figure looks a little bulkier then the show version though. I'll probably get it cause I never got the original.

Ordered Shrapnel, Crosscut, and Twincast/Eject. The thing I am most happy about, actually, is the estimated release dates on Pulse of 4/1, 5/1, and 6/1 respectively. That would be great if PO-to-release-date ratio gets back to what it used to be of a couple months not 8-to-12 months.

The Insecticons look good.

At this pace they are going to make a commander class Pretender. Why can’t they decide on a size for these Pretender redos. It was funny they joked about how the Autobot Pretenders were muscle men in armor so they saw nothing to use there. I wish they had just decided to make all the Pretenders at one class like deluxe or legend. Oh well.

Yeah, Pretenders being all over the map - sometimes incorporating the shell, sometimes not - doesn't excite me. This wave/year in particular feels pretty heavy on re-use, but I suspect many resources are going to the movie lines. I'm okay with a bit of a break.

I also empathize with the hodge-podge selection not doing it for people. I'd be more excited if there was a consistent theme where I could complete sub-teams in a given year.

I saw Leo Prime at Target today. I didn't know he was out. I considered getting him but I passed for now. He looked fine, but he also looks like he has alot of extra kibble going on around the arms. I'll probably get him later but hes not a priority.

My Breakdown has shipped from Pulse. Looking forward to assembling Menasor since he was the last piece I needed to get.. Where the Arielbots at!!???

I too have slowed down buying TFs since they are going to eras I have no attachment to. For G1, I don’t think I will go past anything Target/Headmasters. I just need them to hurry up and get to Brawn, Gears, Windcharger, and Buzzaw. After that G1 series 2 is probably my final battleground. I will collect some of the different Optimus Primes from the different eras if they look good as well as any gestalts.

The recent Nemesis Prime they announced this week is a core class figure, so he stands only about 3.5” tall. Mainline Optimus would be around 6.5-7” tall. I don’t think you want this Nemesis Prime.

Thanks I was actually hoping that Nemesis is Core Class to go with my Soundwave. Weird I don't see it labeled as Core Class on their app.

I'm 1000% ok with them giving my wallet a break and serving up eras that appeal to other generations of fans. Throw me a few Starscreams and I'll grab a few others here and there that are interesting but my collection of modern era TF's is a good 90% "complete." I would love them to keep going with how they are doing Combiners though, but keep the pace relatively slow (though maybe up the pace to 2 a year instead of 1?). I don't need them all rushed out but I wouldn't complain if we got out a bit quicker.

Oh how funny! That was presumptuous of me. I love core class. I could tell Nemesis was because of the detailing, some of the ports, the shape of the body, etc, because I have the regular version of the Optimus mold. This mold in particular is one of the best mainstream figures at this scale available, in my opinion. Others are of mixed quality. Soundwave is good, the seekers are great, Shockwave and Megatron are so so. Hot Rod is a hot mess. Ratchet is pretty good. The combining Dinobots are the worst.

Finish off the Dinobots, Insecticons, Minibots, and maybe the Aerialbots and Combaticons and I'll be more than thrilled.

I completed Menasor today!

Also got Scraphook. Not sure I like Junkions being deluxe scale, but I love the concept of them becoming weaponzier armor. I also like that he can transform without taking anything apart.
