I'm sold on the OG She-Ra figures as well, and I really didn't think I would be. But the ones they've released so far have been really well done.

They HAVE to do a 200X Armored King Randor for Masterverse. I was always bummed we never got one in MOTU Classics. it would have been a perfect figure in that line. But I really hope we get one in Masterverse. I'm very excited about the Origins version, but Battle Armor 200x Randor just needs to be a big, detailed, 7" figure.

I'd be surprised if we don't eventually get the battle armor Randor from Revelation, at the least. And that guy was obviously -heavily- inspired by the 2002 version. My son also really wants them to make a Masterverse (and Origins) version of Chief Carnivus. So while I'm not big on the 2002 stuff, I'd get pretty excited if it looked like they were going to start including some of that here.

So I had another lucky Masterverse haul today.

I have not really gotten into Masterverse, and I have only picked up figures on sale/clearance. However I have lucked out recently.

First I snagged a couple Battle Cats and a Skelegod for $0.02CDN each at Walmart. They were supposed to be off the shelves by that time, but my luck they weren't. Second I found the Fisto/Scareglow wave at Winners/Marshalls for $8CDN each. Normally they are $30+ at regular retail. So I was happy with that and wasn't worried about getting anything else right now, but thanks to my local Walmart that all changed.

Walmart had started clearancing Beast Man ($29 down from $48) and the Viking He-Man/Barbarian Skeletor wave ($19 down from $35). However there is discretion at the store level and my local store had Beast Man down to $19 and the Viking He-Man wave at $9!!! So now I have another full wave of 4 figures for $1 more than a single figure and Beast Man for less than half price.

Thanks a lot Mattel and Walmart. You great sales are dragging me in, kicking and screaming, to Masterverse and I'm probably going to end up with way more figures than I ever wanted/expected.

That's true. I can't believe I was so gullible as to believe Mattel could keep making these figures. It was madness to ever doubt the Guru of Toys. I should send Scott an apology cake or something.

I saw this on social for the first time today. Figure looks cool, but I don't think I'll pursue it. I still haven't watched Revelations, so I have no connection. I don't need a bunch of variations of Lyn, I'd like to get something resembling her classic design though.

Looks cool. I might get it if it doesn’t sell out quick but if it does then no big loss for me. This is still a hidden gem line for me so I’m not going to pursue everything that is hard to get. I’m satisfied with normal Lynn. I might go for classic Lynn like Norm mentioned if they make her.
