I may have gotten the name wrong. Is it Masters of Evil? Something like that. But yeah, it's a Target exclusive. That being said, Target exclusives -seem- to mostly be exclusives within the US. So if you're outside the US, it's a crapshoot who, if anyone, will pick it up. Like EB Games in Canada sells NECA's Target exclusives. As do some Canada-only toy retailers like Toy Snowman. EB Games also sells Hasbro's Walgreens exclusives. And I -think- I've heard of TRU getting something as well that's exclusive in the US.TheFallen wrote: I have seen the Icons of Evil pics but isn't that a store exclusive?
I haven't seen any such thing here, but I have heard rumours, which I cannot substantiate, that in some parts of Canada the two-pack has appeared in either EB Games or Toys R Us (I can't remember which it was).
So I only mention it because if you're outside the US it is -possible- you'll see that set crop up.
You don't even have to be confident. They've said it. He-Man and Skeletor are being re-issued with their vintage style heads (from the Battle Armor deluxe figures) and the new full power sword that just came out with Faker. So definitely don't pay a mark-up on the regular He-Man and Skeletor figures. You'll have a chance at them later on.TheFallen wrote: I am confident that the original He-Man and Skeletor will be released here, regardless what wave they start with.
But yeah, for your needs it's just a matter of which wave they start with, and which waves they skip - which is another important thing. Canada got very little wave 1 or 2. Like most people never saw them at all. But we got HAMMERED with wave 3, which also resulted in us not really getting wave 4 at all, and now we've got quite a bit of wave 5.
If your local store being able to carry the line is a new deal, you may not even see anything before wave 5 or 6 at all. Which sucks. I wish you luck, though.
