I hope not. I want one or two, but not all. And I’ll skip them all rather than buy them all.

I'm stoked for these. I collected the Movie Masters back in the day, and have grabbed a few of the MAFEX, but I really like how they translate to Todd's style. I'm in for the whole wave, with a second Scarecrow that I'm gonna pair with either Roach or the Dark Knight Returns Horse (once I find a good deal on one). I hope we see at least another wave for these- there's a few heavy hitters missing, and I think Todd could crush a Batpod.

Yeah, I think im in for the wave.
Catwoman, ras and zsasz would be great to see too.

And a mcfarlane Batman begins suit would SLAP.

Id also add that seeing the digital renders before did alot to make the actual reveals seem sooo much better. I kinda enjoyed this sort of reveal process

Agreed on the reveal process. The digital renders made me excited but cautious, as they all looked just a little off. But man, the team really brought it home from render to final product.

I can’t say I’m mad that Scarecrow has the maggot effect on his mask, I don’t think it’s been done before? But I would have loved McFarlane’s attempt at just the regular mask.

And holy cow I just remembered that McFarlane has horses. Roach is perfect.

I was just saying that if you buy the bundle from Todd’s site, you get a decent discount. About $3.00/figure off. Plus 10% off the bundle because it counts as one item. You can certainly buy the individual figures too.

I’ve not had a bad experience with Todd’s store and would recommend it for almost anyone. Whether you purchase the bundle or not.

The only problem with Todd's store is the outrageous shipping charges compared to other sites (and shipping is slow on top of it). The bundle pricing is great and if you watch they occassionally run deals where you can get free figures for spending over a certain $ amount. I know that I got 3 DC Multiverse figures and 4 Mortal Kombat figures that way. I'll often go ahead and pre-order my figures elsewhere but then purchase the bundle if he has it in stock first and they have an incentive program offer running. He also has a 10% off code that works on all orders where you're not already using a different promo (MTS10). I've had good experiences when I've ordered from there but I hate the shipping charges / time.

It’s not cheap shipping. But I wouldn’t call it outrageous either. As to speed, well, we’ve clearly had different experiences.

I've only had 1 semi-bad experience. On my last order, I paid for Fed Ex shipping (so it would come to my door) but instead they sent it with the cheaper USPS shipping so it went to my post office. I wasn't too mad about spending more for shipping than what I got out of it, but my work schedule makes it a pain in the ass to get to the post office during their business hours to pick it up so that was a damn headache.

Otherwise, I've received things faster than expected, things have shipped out ahead of schedule, and their CS has been a pleasure to deal with.

I don't think that I've ever paid less than $15 for shipping from Todd's store on any order. I don't know that I've paid for any other shipping in years except at BBTS is which a flat $4 per order. I always get free shipping from Amazon and Target and I only order from Entertaintment Earth, Gamestop, Hasbro Pulse or Walmart if I'm ordering enough for free shipping. So yes, that $15+ is more than I'm used to paying elsewhere. I usually find that it and the savings from buying a bundle almost exactly offset each other. As someone who sells 10+ items per week on ebay and offers free shipping on everything I sell, I know that I personally pay at least $10 to ship out anything that weighs over 13 oz -- so it's not that his rates aren't realistic -- it's just more than I personally ever have to pay anywhere else.

As far as shipping time, I'm in Iowa - right smack in the middle of the United States and live in a town of about 80k people in a county of about 700k (so not rural) and I've never had a package that I've ordered from Todd arrive in less than a week from the day I pay - it's usually closer to 2 weeks. In fairness I always choose the cheapest option that he offers. BBTS, Amazon, Target, Gamestop, Walmart and the others always have whatever I order to me in 3 days or less without exception.

So, yes I may have different expectations. I've had absolutely no bad experiences with Todd's store - but just don't like his shipping costs / time as much as the other vendors I routinely order from. When giving a fair assessment, I thought that it was a valid point to share.

The IG pics look amazing!

The digital renders from fall were pretty underwhelming so I wasn’t pumped for these. Plus, I have the Mattel Movie Masters set and all the Mafex Dark Knight Trilogy figures.

After seeing the IG pics, though, I’m all in.
