The regular AS isn’t needed and the Megafig is shorter than Swamp Thing! Great job Todd!

Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse Black Adam Movie Wave
I like having the regular size version on display with the group, but I agree his larger version should’ve been bigger and somewhat measured the same as swamp thing. There’s so much empty space in the box I feel they should’ve made him bigger to fill the box. Of course we can’t have the giant one but at least make him look bigger.

Ugh. I am absolutely ashamed I got them mixed up and and brought shame upon my family. I will henceforth retreat to a cabin in the woods to live out the remainder of my life where I can do no further harm.jaygarrick1940 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 1:18 amSir Mix-a-Lot. not Hammertimejoshsquash729 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 6:57 pmvicious7171 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 5:24 pmI don't normally talk this way, but Sabbac looks dummy thicc. Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse Black Adam Movie Wave
I PO'd the wave. A little hesitant but they look nice enough. Big A. Smasher for me, passed on the smaller version. I think his size is fine, with so many figures coming from this line space is a premium. I can save the really massive figures for Giganta and Anti Monitor.
Hawkman looks great, even though its a movie version a really nice looking figure. Could be a nice army builder for when we get Comic Hawkman.

Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse Black Adam Movie Wave
Yeah, I kinda think he should be taller. I have a 12" custom Giant Man I got from one of the Fwooshers and wouldn't like Atom to me much smaller than him. That's why I think I might go with the regular sized one.

Well that’s what’s not being shown. Scale. In the comics, Al Rothstein is 6’6” before he grows. He was a big dude to begin with. College basketball player before Infinity Inc. was formed.
The “small” Atom Smasher doesn’t seem remotely big enough.

He could’ve been a BAF with each arm/ leg being 8-9 inches long!NEW BATMAN wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 2:18 pmI like having the regular size version on display with the group, but I agree his larger version should’ve been bigger and somewhat measured the same as swamp thing. Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse Black Adam Movie Wave
Interesting that the movie figures have comicbook style art on the box, not movie stills.
When for a while ( I now it has changed recently) we had comic book figures with figure photography on the box and collector cards-not comic book source art.
Considering these are movie specific surely movie stills would seem appropriate. Don't get me wrong I am not DCEU enthusiast , comic book all the way....just an observation.
Really looking forward to that Hawkman and could see a multiple purchase if they go on sale.

Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse Black Adam Movie Wave
This line looks pretty nice, despite some of the drawbacks.
I agree that Atom Smasher should be larger (in both cases), but for my heroes display the large one should work, since I'm just not going to display two sizes of him on the shelf. If they make a mega-megafig down the road I'll get it.
Hawkman looks great, but it seems like we're at an annoying place with wings on action figures these days (gargoyles, manbat, etc) where all the modern articulation is falling short where the wings are concerned.
I opted for the regular Black Adam, since he has the lightning effects. I totally expect I'll grab the hooded version eventually too, but I'm waiting to hear more about the Black Adam with throne version.

Ended up only going for cloakless Adam, Hawkman and Sabbac. I'll grab Atom and Cyclone for customs once their prices drop.
Really hope to go for this swap eventually.

Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse Black Adam Movie Wave
I missed the Flash sale on Monday but used the MTS10 code which pretty much wiped out the shipping charge for the entire bundle for 173. If I went to GameStop or Target I would pay about 211 for the entire wave which includes Wisconsin state tax..still a pretty good deal for me. Anyways, the entire wave has shipped.
