Might as well just be the black Hush one and the throne Spawn with a new cape, or entirely new figures, old figures with new parts, just new heads or a mix of everything. Hard to say with Todd at this point but there's precedent for all of those variations in the line.

Not for nothing, but 2 major comic cons are going on this weekend. C2E2 in Chicago and Megacon in Orlando. Dunno if we get toy news, but the comic and media news should be poppin’.

Didn’t realize that. However, DC has a Megacon panel this afternoon at 5:00 PM EST. Geoff Johns is on it which is kind of unusual. Especially since he hasn’t really been involved in Dawn of DC up to this point. It jumped out at me when I saw that, because Geoff rarely does cons anymore. Now I’m sort of expecting an announcement of some kind.

My Catwoman and Freeze have been delayed 4 times now by Amazon. First it was 3/3. Then 3/21. Followed by this coming Monday, but last night I received another email saying 4/14.

Same. Now that it's been delayed a 4th time, I canceled Catwoman. Didn't like the crotch bulge anyway.

People are assuming a giant size for the Anti-Monitor, but theres (unfortunately, imo) a strong possibility it’ll be the more recent version from around the time Death Metal, who was smaller. Especially since Todd loves the Metal stuff and has shown a preference for modern looks.

Thing is that's the Ultra-Monitor, not the Anti-Monitor. So if the listing says "Anti-Monitor" it will most likely be the classic look. However, it will probably just be the standard Mega-Fig size. Which I would be OK with me, because AM didn't get super huge until the end of the story. Before that he was a more "normal" size. If I remember correctly. It's been a long time since I read COIE.

It's entirely possible that the spawn batman if it is indeed a batman figure or two pack with batman could use the new knightfall batman buck just with black and grey.

Thats what he did with hush batman....

They’d have to retool the chest though because Batman has just the big black bat in the latest crossover

If they could do that, that could be my definitive blac/grey Batman. Not necessarily his Batman/Spawn look, though. That appearance is inherently “rebirth-y”, I can’t put my finger on why…

Just got Superboy and purple Catwoman delivered from Target today

I almost skipped that Superboy, but I needed a replacement Catwoman because the one I originally got had two right lower legs. So I ordered another one and wanted to get free shipping so I threw in Conner for the heck of it. Glad I did. He's actually a really cool figure. Love the jacket with the big "S" on the back.

I could honestly see it going either way with the Batman/Spawn two pack. Easy repaints and minor retooling, or a flat out showpiece with two all new sculpts. Maybe an exclusive comic packed in. Todd loves that shit.

Yep it's 50/50 as I see it too. I love Capullo and faithful renditions of his Spawn and Batman would be quintessential in my opinion. But I slightly moreso expect retreads. Hope not though. He does so much cool stuff but then HUSH Batman and Superman don't really represent that artwork at all in my opinion. But White Knight and Metal are spot on.
