Blacked out the thigh armor and the paint on the abdomen and I think he looks a lot better.

Nice tweak. looks better. black paint is the easiest to upgrade a figure. if i get him, will add some metallic.

Well, after Wal-Mart cancelled my Eradicator order, I was upset as I still needed it and Vampire Batman. Today I was in my local Wal-Mart, and while they didn't have Eradicator, they did have one Vampire Batman Gold Label figure. So, I picked that up at least. It is a fantastic looking figure too.

The Dark Knight film wave may be my first McFarlane wave where I buy every figure. I don't want to, genuinely, but they look too good to pass on. Oh well, congrats to Todd for giving us things we didn't know we wanted...again.

Probably a long shot, since it's still only available for pre-order, but does anyone know if the Hot Toys The Batman 1/6th scale figure is built on a seamless or articulated body?
He’ll all but guaranteed be on an articulated body. HT is only started to use seamless with Wonder Woman and Bane and will likely only use it on figures showing a fair amount of skin.
Good to know, thank you.

It kind of depends on the light, but yes, sometimes it does feel like the attire is brown. Sometimes it looks kind of metallic and seems like it's a darker color and not quite brown. Now the bat emblem, gloves, boots, and trunks look flat out black. But the rest of the attire, be it on the torso, arms, or legs, can indeed look kind of brown or dark and bronze-ish. But if you have it in the light and are moving it, it can also look like I said, like a deep black that has a tone or hint metallic and shine. It's kind of weird. The more it's in direct light, the browner or bronze it feels.

I'd say as soon as you pick it up your like "brown!" But standing on a shelf, it looks dark and menacing.

When I picked it up in the store, I didn't notice it at all. It just seemed like the normal dark shades of the Batman.

Maybe next week we see The Titans wave?? Hopefully soon. The Nolan wave looks great, but it's an easy pass since I don't do movie stuff. Would like to get a look at Nightwing, Arsenal, Triton etc. to see if it affects my budget/enthusiasm.

After seeing pics of the new Raven design I’m not as enthused about how her figure will turn out. Hopefully Todd goes for a more classic look

Started this year with the mindset that I was selling my collection...then all the new releases hit the UK and Captain Atom got leaked as coming.
Suffice to say I'm back, started with Signal which is a great fig and addition to the BatFamily.
Got Eradicator, Gladiator Bats and SuperBoy coming too in the next few days.

Saw Superwoman too in person, looks fine but no need for her personally. The PP Fate does look pretty badass though, again passed cause I've got the first release.

Out of interest where in the UK has Superwoman? And do they have the Starro wave?

It’s also February so we need to see the next figure in the Cyborg Flashpoint wave. Presumably still coming in April.

But yeah, Titans is my main priority for now.

So it seems that James Gunn’s announcements and the subsequent revelations of the comics he’s using for inspiration have spiked sales on those comics. Both in floppies and trades. And spiking aftermarket values on key issues on eBay. Trades are easy DC can get them back to print fairly quickly.

Question is, should Todd follow? Superman, Batman and Robin, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, etc. are all pretty easy. We’ve already got many of these characters along with Booster Gold and Swamp Thing. Would you buy Creature Commandos, Authority, and more (comic accurate) Suicide Squad? Definitely need Supergirl and Wonder Woman, as well as more Amazons.
