WM exclusive Batmobeast with a figure. 50 bucks. But it’s basically just the roll cage.
I think it looks much better like this.

This thing screams a couple things to me. Repurposed stock that he was able to talk Walmart into buying because “exclusive.” And….stirring shit up with Hasbro. He’s basically asking consumers if LEDs and flame effects are worth $300.

McFarlane also mud slicked the tires tread, mud splattered the face of the tires, rims and areas in the front of the cage. Those parts are clean on mine.

Very cool looking, but a pass. I would definitely be up for a standard Batmobile from damn near any movie.

At $50 I almost want to buy this on principle. Alas, I have no space for it.

The Batmobeast is awesome, I snagged one a few months back for about $50 from Target. Big, bulky, just cool looking. I've been collecting every evil Batman from the Dark Multiverse, and the Batmobeast was needed as he is an actual character from Death Metal and not just a vehicle (comes from a world where Batman downloaded his consciousness into machines). Even with the paper thin shell, I love this stupid thing

Also, I received the Speed Metal figs from Todd's store today. I had planned on only keeping the Darkest Knight pieces & ebaying the figs, but...these look awesome in hand. Damn! More figures in need of shelf space lol

Jay is my favorite of the group. Just a cool design that reminds me of 90's polybagged comics with chrome variant covers. Awesome.

What’s funny is you can get the batmobeast on Amazon for $50 right now with the shell.

In theory its a $20 unique sculpt figure and a $30 dollar vehicle.

And good on McFarlane taking on other toy manufacturers like this.

Todd toys is ‘out to blast the competition’ from day one after all.

And here I thought, when I saw Batmobeast 2 pack on socials yesterday, that someone was just shitposting about Hasbro. Well, more power to Todd if he can justify that price AND jokingly elbow the competition in the ribs at the same time.

If this truly is some sort of response to the Haslab Ghost Rider car then I'm all for it. Hasbro has lost a ton of good faith with me this last year.

Unfortunately it can only go so far. Competitors in other markets lure customers by offering a better value, and maybe Todd's figure are a better value, but he's still not offering MARVEL figures. So the Marvel fan' main option is still Hasbro, and unfortunately, in most cases it seems, they are more than willing to let Hasbro jerk them this way and that. As long as they're getting their next D-lister on the umpteenth reused buck with bare bones paint and accessories, or the umpteenth redone A-lister with a purpose-built flaw to keep them from being the "best version ever".

Sill, keep up the good work, Todd.

Two, there's still DST with Marvel Select. I take umbridge with you not mentioning them. It's much smaller of course, with around 150 figures or something, at this point. But at least yhrted a choice and a much better one than Hasbro, if you're looking for more than repaints.

Would be great if Todd somehow got the Marvel license. Would be even better if Diamond could expand theirs.
