Gotta say, been lookin’ at the leak list, and I’m basically hoping to win the lottery soon. I only buy comic looks, and even then, I’m not a completist. But damn. If it’s accurate (and I’ve no reason to believe it’s not), it’s starting to look like a deluge of product. Doesn’t help that after Black Adam, Shazam II, Aquaman II, and Flash (which might still get canned), the only green lit movie DC has right now is Joker II. The Batman II is probably safe. Blue Beetle seems up in the air. Animated is being sidelined for a while, and TV is being restructured. Rumor is Greg Berlanti might become DC’s Kevin Feige. Which would be a disaster in the making. Only things really open for business is comics and games which I expect Todd to double down on in the short term. To the leaks I expect to purchase…

Red X
Element X Trinity (depending on source material)
Death Metal Damian (maybe)
Beast Boy (if comic accurate)
Death Metal Harley (to go with the Hyena)
Azrael (standard)
Deadshot
Gold Label Tim Drake ( lots of ways this can go)
Gold Label Shazam (presumed to be standard)
GL Bat Family 5-pack (depends on characters)
Sinestro (if original costume)
Hush Superman (if ivy isn’t sculpted on)
PP Barry Allen
PP Atom
PP Heatwave
PP Captain Cold (GL variant)
PP deluxe Grodd
Deluxe Mongul
Deluxe Frankenstein
Deadman
New 52/Rebirth Kid Flash
Speed Metal (buying the wave) (Darkest Knight CtB).
GL Rebirth Kid Flash (redundant?)
Power Ring/Johnny Quick (to close out Starro)

My wallet is doomed.

Berlanti has my support if he winds up the custodian of the DC film universe. He’s a diverse multi-talent, and while I don’t like everything he’s had a hand in I see his effort and I like the work he has done to make DC an interesting place to be. I can’t think of anyone else more qualified at this particular moment in time, although I am definitely open to other options.

Amazon decided not to deliver my gladiator Supes and wetsuit Slade yesterday, so hopefully they will swing by today and drop them off. Straw-hat Scarecrow should be here tomorrow.

Did we know that this just casually showed back up? Gold Label Year 2 Batman in stock again:

I’d love to think that QC is improved on this batch, so I could open one up. Too expensive a gamble…

has anyone else had issues with grifters left hand wrist peg? ive gotten 3 from amazon and all have had the same issue with one having the wrist peg sheer off when I tried to turn it.
they painted the wrists instead of casting them in red so you're likely to end up with issues until you heat and pop it.
those sobs. thanks for the help!

Thats a nice looking Shazam. One of my favorite characters.

He has had a few different designed outfits, this is a newer incarnation for sure but I'm still delighted to add him to me shelf. I would very much like a Marvel family including Hoppy if Todd feels inclined.

I think the costume is splitting the difference between classic and New 52. Gold Label is here to stay unfortunately. Extra SKUs and all that.

I have no problem whatsoever with Gold Label so long as it's not through [email protected]#$ Walmart.

What is with the giant grasping hands in the picture? They are bigger than his entire head.

If Berlanti takes over DC on film, you can expect the destruction of DC Comics as a media brand for the next decade. He will turn every film into propaganda reels for his leftist identity politics. I can't imagine this rumor is true given that all of his shows were canned along with the CW itself. There's another rumor that the HBO Max GL series is still on, but that show reads like another CW soapbox with a higher budget. Berlanti needs to go.

There is one man who could either run DC on film as its head or as the director of iconic adaptations: Brad Bird. Give the man full control on a Superman movie and the rest will fall into place. As Superman goes, so goes the DCU, and that's in all media.

If this gets the same treatment MM did, I'll be all over it. If it's just the New 52 version, no thanks.

While I’m not down with the identity politics soapbox, the bigger problem with Berlanti to me is that’s he’s unimaginative and dull.

Can’t be preachy and boring at the same time.

But my actual point was that we may not be seeing many live action figures for a while after the current slate of films pass.
