All these different versions of Batman, and still no Dick Grayson version.
Ah well, saves me money.

Dick Grayson Batman would be great. Mattel's version was so lackluster...and it was definitely my most anticipated figure at the time.

Next Batman looks cool. Love if they made Future State GL and Wonder Woman to go along with her and the Jon Lane-Kent Superman that we're supposedly getting.

I assumed the Jon Kent we were getting was from Tom Taylor's run. Is it the Future State version?

I like Mattel's version a lot, especially with the extra head and removed cowl accessories. I thought Mattel was really making some interesting figures there at the end.

With how painfully common the shoulder breakage issue seems to be - you'd think McFarlane would make some sort of announcement about it and make an effort to get us replacement arms or something. Its clearly not a fluke anymore based on how many people have the issue.
It's either not as widespread as we think, or the production run was so limited that it's just not worth addressing. If it's the latter, I do feel Todd should make some kind of statement though.

The extras were great, what really held that figure back for me was the head sculpt and cape. They just looked so cheap. The body they chose to make their Batman body at the time also had some weird proportions going on.

They had the right idea but the final product fell short of the initial computer renders.

Mattel was getting better. I’m still using that Red Robin in my DC display.

I completed the Three Joker wave yesterday. Scored the Clown at Target.
I haven’t read the story yet, but without spoiling it, can someone tell me which one was the one that killed Robin back in the day?

It was the Clown. You'll know when you read the story.

The Criminal is basically the Golden Age Joker.

The Clown is the Silver & Bronze Age Joker.

And The Comedian is the more modern, post “Killing Joke” Joker.

No one has ever made an action figure of Batman from Year One - my personal favorite look. Really hope McFarlane finally gives us one.

Add me to the list of people who had the yr 2 Batman bicep shear off at the shoulder.

I had to heat the left shoulder socket to get the shoulder even into the body, then was carefully moving it after reading the issues in this thread. Went to turn it back to neutral after testing a pose or 2 out with the fabric cape, and the left arm came off right in my hands.

I haven't seen any pics of what happened with others in this thread, but here's mine.

so i noticed when fixing lobo and dealing with my first messed up swamp thing that the bicep peg seems to be a separate piece. i'm figure you could pop it out of another figure and replace it

I received my two Y2 Batman figs today and I opened one of them. I could tell that the biceps swivels were very tight, so before I even tried to seriously rotate them, I dunked the end of the arms that plug into the figure in very hot water for a few seconds. After that the biceps rotated very easily and the shoulder pegs moved easily as well. So far I've been able to rotate the upper arms and move them up and down with no problems.

Anyway, I would highly recommend doing the hot water treatment (or use a hair dryer to heat them) before trying to rotate the upper arms.

Rumor is for Future State. When I first heard about Jon, I thought it was the current incarnation too.
