Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse The Batman movie wave
I would agree that if you're only going to display your figures on the shelf, just get the one you like most.
However, there are toy photographers that like having the options to have either masked or unmasked head sculpts because it allows for visual story telling. I many toy photographers doing that with Miles Morales and Peter B Parker.
My Batman, Catwoman and Riddler figures arrived today from Amazon. They're definitely better in hand than any of the product pics I've seen. Although, I really not liking the side eye look on Batman. The Batman figure has a hood down effect, which I would have thought would only have been on the unmasked version of the figure. It kind of sucks he doesn't have a right gripping hand because he'd need it to ride his batcycle. I don't think the batcycle has the right gripping hand.

Not everyone throws extras in a box,I’d gladly pay $25 for a figure with extra hands and heads.stack32 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 2:49 pmI still find it funny how many collectors seem to think that adding extras like an alternate head costs nothing. Maybe it's because ML has hidden those costs over the years? Regardless, I think McFarlane already has the price on these as low as possible and adding more stuff means a price increase. I could handle that for more paint apps (which many of these figures could really benefit from) but not for alternate parts that are going to sit in a box.

Alameda CA. They were a mistake for sure (Rang up as Batman bend and....) but I didn't care enough to 'discuss' with an employee who doubtful would know the difference. These will be plentiful, and available at a discount eventually I would say.....It was a nice looking figure though.

i would be more interested in hands, I find those way more expressive. Especially. for action poses.BruceKent wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 11:52 pmNot everyone throws extras in a box,I’d gladly pay $25 for a figure with extra hands and heads.stack32 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 2:49 pmI still find it funny how many collectors seem to think that adding extras like an alternate head costs nothing. Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse The Batman movie wave
Well, I'm one of those guys who would want an actual body to go with the alternate head.
Heck, I'm grabbing a second unmasked Catwoman because the listing on the box is different.
The Catwoman unmasked I got from the cmdstore has written on the box, Selina Kyle Unmasked.
The one being offered here in the US has Catwoman Unmasked written on the box.
Since I don't open movie figures, I would require to have both.
It was mentioned about paying a higher price if extra hands and a head was offered.
I would be willing to pay $24.99 for the DC figures if they could get paint details like the Spawn figures do,

Re: McFarlane DC Multiverse The Batman movie wave
the spawn line doesn't really have any extra paint.
honestly i don't mind some of the unpainted details. i'm a capable adult who's invested and passionate about it; you think an underage and underpaid kid in a factory is gonna do a better job than me? naw i got this

Yes. I’ll look closely for this version and pick it up if I can find it. Hopefully the other figures in this wave will get “straight eyes variant” as well. I’d like to order these online but I’ll know I’ll end up with side eye versions.

Well I got my battinson from amazon and lo and behold it has the downed cowl collar instead of the regular guh....

Guess I'll try to cut it off and maintain the look of the collar, annoying mistake. He also has left directed side eye but it doesn't bother me, rhe collar error does.

That is odd interested does it have the grapnel or batarang and is the right hand gripping or open hand for the grapnel?
