Really wondering if they had scale issues with this. Like the dio and car seem scaled more for 5 inch and maybe they were gonna do 5 inch like the my hero stuff but for some reason the figures have come out at 6 inches.

Obviously scale has been an issue with multiverse I wonder if it's an issue here. The figures are obviously just a bit too big for the car and the cave.

Pros: Batcave looks cheaply made, but good. Clip-on sound effects are a great idea. Packaging is nice. Batman and Joker look better than Mattel, but not by much.

Cons: Batmobile is way too small (Mattel FTW) Batmobile detail is soft. Robin is EPIC FAIL (bad likeness, scalloped cape)

Color my enthusiasm dampened.
The scalloped cape on Robin is such a silly mistake. How does that get past all the note-happy licensing people at WB? As if that likeness wasn't bad enough.

Yeah, it is weird how the car and cave are too little. I'm hoping the cave scales better with my Mattel figures, because I won't be able to pass that up.

I loved watching the reruns of the old 1966 Batman series, but I am a little disappointed in this set. I may pickup Batman and Robin, but in no way am I stopping at a ton of Targets and checking Brickseek and Popfindr non-stop to get these. It’s all about ease of finding them to decide if I will collect even just a few.

Beautiful shot of the Mattel Batmobile. I have all the Mattel items, but will definitely get the McFarlane stuff

Batman's giant diaper is enough for me to pass.

But the Batcave should go great with my Funkos.

This is clearly designed as a play line, which is the biggest head scratcher of all. Is there going to be some kind of big push to get the show in front of kids? I’m sure they’ll squeal with glee when Jerry Lewis and Sammy Davis Jr. make their cameos.

My guess is that this line is designed for parents and grandparents who are buying for children, as well as older collectors.

Now I really wish I would've picked up that Mattel Batmobile a few years back. It's really much nicer than the McFarlane one (granted it retailed for twice the price of the McFarlane one and that was about 7 years ago)

Happy Father's Day All!

At this point in my life I could care less about a super articulated 66 set. I've made peace with the likelihood that's just not going to happen. But is it too much to ask for some GD accurate actor likenesses? The body sculpts look good enough. And the packaging design looks fun so I'll likely still pick them up. But. It's clear a lot of McFarlane's best sculptors left long ago (probably about the time The 4H did) and It's never quite been the same. Still good just not the apex of once upon a time.

The snub nosed batmobIle is very "mego" in appearance and I'm honestly ok with that. There were several scenes in the series that the car looked shorter anyway. The Mattel reminds me more of BTAS with the long front and I always felt it was *too* big.

My excitement for the goofy fun I could've had with Mafex Hush Bats driving the '66 Batmobile's gone. But I'm sure I'll be able to find a different Batmobile that scales well with him.

Have fun, all!

For what it’s worth, ive never had a problem finding any McFarlane Target exclusive so far. He’s got distribution covered a lot better than Hasbro and Mattel.

Not quite as bad as Walmart exclusive. But if you are diligent, I’ve seen all the McFarlane Target exclusive stuff pop up on their website.

Is the whole line Target only or just first to get?
