Re: MAFEX DC Comics Figures
The Knightfall Batman is my most anticipated figure in years (probably since the Mafex Hush Batman), but with the McFarlane version coming out soon(ish), I think that will tide me over for now.

I’ve been hoping for a good Bo-Katan reveal for ages so I’m happy with this month’s drop but I certainly feel your pain guys, everyone is jonesing for a snazzy 90s Tim announcement. I figure they’ll do it when they have Superboy ready to show too.

Got charged for Huntress from HLJ. Although I'm excited for her, I would rather have had Nightwing first. I haven't read the Hush storyline in over a decade. I don't recall her having a huge role in the storyline or is that incorrect.

She really didn’t. Played a small part in the 2nd issue and then another small part in the 10th issue. But then again, Nightwing didn’t have much of a role in the comic either. He only showed up in one of the issues. He had a larger role to play in the movie though. Still I was more into Nightwing thanks to his solo career so this figure will really plug a major hole in my collection. But I also wouldn’t be opposed to a Scott McDaniel or Greg Land based Nightwing either down the lineblackcomicnerd wrote:Got charged for Huntress from HLJ. I’m just happy to have a Huntress in the 6 inch scale to replace the tiny DCU Classics version. Her and Ivy both got shrunk and have been “good enough” for years-excited to get both those ladies from Mafex

Huntress shipped from Amazon JP.
Based on their teleportation system, it's looking like Tuesday.

Yeah, woke up to read mine’s on its way too. Still kinda crazy to me that we’re getting Helena before Dick or Tim (or Babs, Cass or Steph!) but hey, I do appreciate that Mafex aren’t quite so much of a sausage fest as certain other manufacturers tend to be. Does leave me wishing they’d do a Titans line but I know there’s nee chance of that alas, I’m resigned to never getting a good 6” Raven.

AmiAmi charged me for Huntress. Kind of annoying if Nightwing or someone else comes out next week. I like to combine where possible.

MAFEX DC Comics Figures
Just got Huntress today - def a solid offering. This Hush line is so good. Nice surprise that they added upper thigh swivel where the shorts and skin meet. Wrist pegs seem different. Reminds me of their old Vaders - wonder why they changed that. I do hope they figure out a better hair solution in the future cause this thing is rock solid…limits the articulation so much. Makes me want Nightwing even more though lol hopefully next month!

Interesting design choices. She still comes with the swappable hands though right? I know it’s probably too early to tell but do the hands feel sturdy without feeling too brittle?Rageasaurus wrote:Just got Huntress today - def a solid offering. This Hush line is so good. Re: MAFEX DC Comics Figures
Yeah everything seems solid. Cape material could be better but it’s good enough. I can see the hands popping off easily because of the straight peg and the gauntlets restricting some range of motion. Feet might be a little big compared to the rest of her proportions..looks a little goofy to me. I know the crossbow was never included but it’s still super wack. I love the details and sculpt work nonetheless. Catwoman to me is still the best female figure they’ve done. Need to go find a crossbow on eBay now!

Re: MAFEX DC Comics Figures
I'm confused. Haven't all the Hush releases been straight pegs for the wrist joint? The only Mafex with a mushroom peg that I can recall is Newt Scamander, and I'm sure they only did that because of the suitcase.
Amazon JP sent mine through SF Express, so it'll be a while before I get mine. Looks good in your pic, Rage.

Re: MAFEX DC Comics Figures
lol yeah I’m an idiot - been messing with SHF too much lately plus lack of sleep I misspoke. Meant to say that thicker straight peg not mushroom peg my bad. This peg is really skinny and kind of pointy - it actually reminds me more of the SHF Bruce Lee figures if anyone had those.
