So, no exploding head for Belloq hm? Bummer.
The figures look good, overall. I’m a bit disappointed at the outfit for Belloq, though. He only wore that at the movie climax. Would have preferred his white suit, but that’s my preference. Still looks to be a strong start for the line.

I like the look of these. I grabbed Indy along the retro Indy (I always wanted one of these). The (now standard) $25 price point is a little bitter. I didn't grab Toth thinking he might go on sale after the release, though I may panic and click that pre-order button.

I’m pretty excited to hear more about those Indiana Jones Mission Fleet type sets. I bet that might lead to some really neat playsets. It would be so cool to get a mine car track set! A Well of Souls? The Idol Playset with that iconic rolling boulder? An inflatable Zeppelin? Under the Library Venice Tomb? A Flying Wing? That’s just a few that could be done really well at that smaller scale. I love everything they showed today and I’m really happy to see it get another go.

I have to say they really nailed Toht. Some of those pics of him by the Ark feel so right. The overall shape and posing seems spot on for those scenes. He’s my favorite figure of the wave by far. I think he’s going to be one of those underrated figures that they just got perfect.

Haha! Well you did a fantastic job with that! He in particular just seemed spot on to the film in your photos.

Not sure if you’re able to say much about the figures but do they seem to scale well with Black series? I’m assuming these will be most similar to the black series size and design wise than any of their other lines based on the same team managing it.

And that two handed pistol grip! Dude! What a way to show off those butterfly joints! Awesome work.

How does the figure feel? Can he hit all those Indy poses? Is the likeness better in-hand?

The history of Harrison Ford likenesses in action figure form is poor, but I rolled the dice and preordered both figs. Fingers crossed. The ark is cool enough that I will probably get them all.

Can’t believe people are passing on melty face Toht. That second head makes it a bonkers must-buy for me.

The eyes look good to me but something about the lower face seems off. Chin a little small and the lower cheeks a little too full? My reaction to the sculpt varies with the angle. Hopefully it looks good in hand.

The fact that these have butterfly joints makes the single-jointed elbows much more forgivable. I didn't expect that with the Black Series-style junk articulation.

Doesn't look anything like Ford, though. '80s Ford was one of the most attractive men to ever live. That looks like my plumber.

And is it me or is that gun really small and dark? I always thought his gun a a normal looking revolver. That seems like a pocket gun. But at least he gets a gun!
