I don't know exactly what kind you're looking for, but the new Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Lui Kang comes with a large bipedal dragon.Robogeek28 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 8:58 pmI need a fully articulated dragon around the same size or slightly bigger than the Hammond Collection Rexy to be made for this line.

I've seen that thanks, but his body is too pre-posed for me, and I'd like one with wings as well.SalemCrow wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 6:07 amI don't know exactly what kind you're looking for, but the new Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Lui Kang comes with a large bipedal dragon.Robogeek28 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 8:58 pmI need a fully articulated dragon around the same size or slightly bigger than the Hammond Collection Rexy to be made for this line.

Honestly...that seems accurate to me for Chris Pine these days. His hairline has gone quite a bit further back in recent years and he's definitely got a lot of forehead.SalemCrow wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 6:06 amYeah, all I've seen are pics of a figure with a huge forehead.JPC wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 12:05 amWhere is the beautiful scan of Chris Pine? No news on the cartoon wave? I thought leakers were saying it's announcement was pushed back for today. REALLY hoping for an exclusive Warfuke / Strongheart Target two pack, and Best Buy exclusive Kelek.

Saw both the tv show figs and some of the movie figs at my local WM in Raynham, MA.
I really think they should've gone with retro packaging for the tv show figs at least.. if they aren't retro, what is?
oh well nice to see a new line of figs on the pegs anyhow

Re: Dungeons & Dragons: We want more, Hasbro!
Funny week with D&D figures.
- got the two NECA figures the other day. They look great, but it's so strange that NECA is putting out a couple of figures at this massive scale but there doesn't seem to be plans to expand the line (?)
- On a whim, picked up the Chris Pine figure from Amazon. It's a really well made figure! No idea what the movie will be like, but I hope this is where they devote their efforts for future figures, this scale/quality/articulation. Not sold on getting the whole set yet but figured I'd start with Pine. Also cannot believe they named the bard Edgin. Little too on the nose, Hasbro
- Not Hasbro related, but Critical Role has a set of those Super7 retro 5PA style figures and had them buy one get one last week, so I impulse bought them, and they're REALLY well done for that type of figure. I'd picked up the same style figure from ShopDisney for the Willow movie (not the new show) and I guess I have the start of a "fantasy IP tangentially or spiritually related to D&D" collection going now? I'm not usually one for the 5PA retro style figure, but the Super7 retro figures seem better than the cartoon retros from Hasbro, which feel like they couldn't decide between simple retro or full-blown articulation like other 1/12 scale stuff.

Looking at the pics posted last of the figure, it hits me what it reminds me of. "The Dawson" AKA James Van Der Beek.

Re: Dungeons & Dragons: We want more, Hasbro!
Having Pine's figure in hand, I actually think the scan is pretty good. It doesn't have the uncanny valley realism that some of the more recent MCU figures have but at least the version I've got is very readily recognizably him, and not unflattering.

At ToyFair(I think) they showed Strongheart and Zarak. At the time they were slated for Q1 2023 so I’m thinking end of the year??docsilence wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 8:40 pmFunny week with D&D figures.

They have announced and shown the next two figures - can't wait for Strongheart - and I would imagine they'll have another couple to show off in the not too distant future... it is that Toy Fair time of year - even if Toy Fair isn't a thing anymore. If the current batch are strong sellers we should definitely see the line continue for a minute.
Re: Dungeons & Dragons: We want more, Hasbro!
This is pretty standard NECA release strategy, though. Two figures at a time well spaced out. Look at the Gargoyles line - one figure at a time with release dates separated by months. Even their Turtles product they don't do "waves" of figures like Hasbro or even Super7.docsilence wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 8:40 pmFunny week with D&D figures.
