Mattel Jurassic Park Lines

Not sure what the breakdown was on the Jurassic Park lines. Target has the Jurassic World Brachiasaurus back online. Only 8 left instock.

Finally got Hammond. Is this it for the 3.75" line as far as humans go? I'm not interested in the 6" line. No Nedry for the smaller Legacy line?Image

Nedry was a SDCC exclusive this year for the 4” line. No word if he’ll see retail like Hammond.

Ah thanks. I thought that was a 6" figure. Should have read closer.

There was a 4" Nedry, with shaving cream packaging, and a 6" Nedry, in rain coat. 4" Nedry was a SDCC/EE exclusive. Certainly, his figure will find a home via retail just like Hammond. Just give it time.

Yeah, the Nedry is both. Oddly little Nedry is in his vaca gear (from the beginning of the movie) and 6" Nedry is in his JP escape outfit.

I'm hopeful he will see release like Hammond but they probably won't announce it for a good while (Hammond took a year) so as not to tick off the folks who paid a mint for him in the SDCC packaging.

I'm hoping we eventually get the kids, Lex & Tim, from the first movie to close out the main cast. Beyond that I'd like a Julianne Moore, Vince Vaughn & the hunter dude (Tembo) from Lost World. I can, uh, skip JPIII lol.

I got my 6 inch Nedry from Amazon today. A good likeness, images don't do justice to the rotund belly.

I can't. They need to release the Spinosaurus f*cking properly.

They already re-released the Spinosaurus with battle-damage. I doubt they'll go for a third release. I have the battle-damage version, which is good enough for me. He doesn't balance very well, due to the one-step-forward thing Mattel likes to do with a lot of these dinos. I caught a documentary last year which covered the spinosaurus. Oddly enough, it couldn't balance very well in the real world either. It's almost a mystery how it stayed on its feet, so Mattel may have been too accurate with the toy.

The kids are hopefully coming in either scale (or both). I can see a 6" Grant coming out next year, since he's in the next movie.

Yeah, say what you will about JP3, but the Spino was the big bad. Deserves a Colossal version or Legacy re-release or stomp and chomp or whatever they call it. Too much attention devoted to Rexes.

My Amber Collection Dilophosaurus is due in from Amazon tomorrow, I can't wait! I've always loved that dino.

I got my Amber collection Dilophosaurus and Nedry in, and they are both fantastic. Nedry looks so much better in person. the likeness is fantastic, and he is fatter than he looks online. But the accessories between Nedry and the Dilophosaurus are just as fun as the figures.

I like these 2 even more than Malcom and the Raptor.

Also, have you all seen the pack at Target that has Hammond in it in the 4" scale? i guess he is no longer simply SDCC exclusive.

I believe it was at Wal-Mart around Christmas last year.
