Video Game Figma Discussion

@tsi unfortunately, yeah. He’s at least way out of scale with any previous Links and any previous Figmas. I’m trying to find one of the comparison photos I’ve seen, but it’s the reason I cancelled my preorder for him.

Wow. I just skimmed some reviews and it looks like he comes in around 6.5". I get that Marvel Legends aren't true 6" scale and they unfairly broke my brain, but I tend to think imports—particularly Figmas—are too small. Link doesn't bother me because I don't have a cohesive Nintendo/Zelda display. Almost all of my video game figures are stand-alone figures hanging out in the same group. It'd be nice if they were the same scale, but it'll never happen.

If I were you, I would've canceled my pre-order, too. I don't really understand this decision when their upcoming Elden Ring Raging Wolf is like 5" tall. If you're doing a scale reset it's one thing. This is not that.

The figure looks good at least.

Oh man I've been hoping they'd do a Zagreus. This was a dream figure! Too bad it won't be out for like 2 years 🤣 

Hell yeah. Zag guarantees I'll have a figure from probably my favorite game ever.

Let's hope Melinoë isn't far behind.

I opened deluxe Tears of the Kingdom Link today. I was extremely concerned about this figure after opening Figma's Elden Ring Raging Wolf last week. Raging Wolf had so many unnecessary moving parts and pieces that I thought I'd dislike Link, too. I'm glad to report that isn't the case.

I probably should've opted for the standard release. I think this is the most accessorized figure I've ever owned. The only deluxe accessories I can see myself using are the glider and bow. I'm happy to have the bow, though. It looks great, even just strapped to Link's back.

I haven't purchased much this year, but I see this guy competing for my figure of the year. I'll be surprised if he lands outside of the top five. The proportions are perfect, the articulation is smooth, and he's Link. He just looks cool. I hope Zagreus gets as much love whenever he drops.
