Alpha Ryu now up for preorder on BBTS.
This is the best image I could find of upcoming Storm Arena releases. Exciting stuff- I'm pretty much in for anything and everything at this scale and price point!
Ooh... is that a Morrigan in this format? That's got my attention. Especially if they get her done around the same $25 price point.
Morrigan *and* Lilith! Also, good lord, Haggar looks massive, is he a regular, 1:10 version?
Morringa, Lilith, Dan, Chun and Sagat are Arena, the rest are standard. I'm really happy seeing Haggar and Cody show up.
@shinigami-customs That makes sense- thanks for the clarification. Hopefully we'll get the others somewhere down the line.
Lilith has been one of my top 10 most wanted action figures ever-- if not my absolute most wanted. She was my first want from the Storm Arena Darkstalkers line. It doesn't even feel real that she's even been announced... hopefully some better pictures come out soon.
You ask and you shall receive
Man, that Sagat is a thing of beauty. (Still taken from another video by mrleeee)
Yeah this is everything I've wanted for actual years. And since it's Storm Arena, it's actually feasible for me to get easily (and I may have to get a few).
Morrigan looks leagues better than her normal Storm counterpart, too... I wonder how far they'll go with Darkstalkers. It wouldn't be a terribly difficult line to get out every single character for.
I'm wondering whether the SC team got bigger or what recently, but it feels like we've been seeing many more teases, preorders and releases in the last 6 months.
Whether or not their team got bigger, I'm absolutely loving it. There's some really rough sculpts in the fighting game lines for the main line... But these figures, their paint, sculpt, licenses etc... especially with the price of Storm Arena? To die for.
I can't wait to see what they have to offer with KOF, and I hope they can expand this further in the future to other IPs they've had, like Soulcalibur, Mortal Kombat, Guilty Gear, and hell, maybe even some new IPs like Dead or Alive or something with Konami, who they worked with prior on the Getsu Fuma figures.
Tell you what though, when I have Morrigan in hand and go to take some MvC style pics, you know I am absolutely using a heavy pixel filter all over her.
