As im drinking my cup of coffee, i put Jim on the table so he can be my companion. PDNA did a awesome job on him, very well made. I was just gonna buy Jim only but after further thought, will be also buying Psy-Crow. he is an awesome character design. Ill skip the other characters though.

Sidenote: Had to tweak some small details, recolor yellow stripe on his left glove and make his black pupil more prominent on 2 heads, small blemish on his mad face head. painted the guns ball thingy that protrudes out a Silver color instead of the yellow, now he's perfect 🤑

Weird fact about me: I like figures with backpacks on.

Jimmy VS. Bruno...who wins?

Out of curiosity, did PDNA ever ship their legit figures, or are all the ones out there still via Aliexpress?

I came here wondering the same thing. I cancelled my EE as it never shipped and just bought one off Ali for half the price. It has some paint issues but whatever

I think only the green ToyCollectr versions have gotten an official release.

Was anyone able to get the torso articulation to loosen up and be useful at all?

Is it still too early to pat myself on the back for being totally right about the Westovers being scammers and dipshits? Where's that dude from pre-blip Fwoosh that was tripping over his own dick to defend them and talk about what great and misunderstood dudes they are?

I wonder what their new toy company will be called.

What actually ended up being fulfilled from their lines? I know a bunch of stuff got sold through AliExpress - supposedly by the factory itself, because of nonpayment - but how many actual preorders etc were honored?

I was *almost* screwed by Megalopolis back in the day - had to hound them nonstop for months to get the stuff I ordered, and I'm positive they never would have sent it if I hadn't fought for it. Definitely skeptical that they had anything positive to offer with this new company.

@h-bird they made a couple waves of Barnyard Commandos and Madballs, a full wave of Battletoads plus a few exclusive color variations of Battletoad enemies, their deluxe Banjo and flocked Banjo, and the green exclusive EWJ.

Did I miss an announcement that they're officially dead, or have they just gone radio silent for so long that it's pretty much assumed? If so, it's what I would expect out of them. Hopefully those who are really into Battletoads are okay with not getting the third toad.

@h-bird  The only things that didn't really materialize that should have by now were the mainline Earthworm Jim figures. Only the variant green-and-black Jim made it out. The entire rest of the wave seemed to have been sold in its entirety on Ali.

@misfit  Nah. It's just all over the place that, once again, the Westovers are dodging emails and calls, refusing to comment on what's going on, and continuing to accept pre-orders for product that it's obvious they aren't going to send to customers because it's already been sold on Ali, and just generally acting in basically the EXACT same manner as they acted when Megalopolis started to tank and they stole a bunch of peoples' money and product.

Edit for clarity: The Westovers, owners of Megalopolis and Premium DNA, are liars and thieves. Just don't think that should ever be forgotten.

Madballs and EWJ are great figures though, gotta give them credit for that.

I finally got regular EWJ and the head pack on AliExpress for less than $40 for the pair, and considering what sh!t people the owners are, I am perfectly fine with that.

I have no connection to the game or cartoon, but had the EWJ toy as a kid, because TMNT crossover (natch), so I'll put this new one in the same collection, along with the Biker Mice From Mars.

I've actually heard very little from the various toy towns about Premium DNA. I think they actually shut down their store and stopped taking PO's over the summer.

Clearly it seems the people who actually PO'd EWJ from them directly are shit out of luck. I assume they were pay-now not pay-later. But I haven't actually seen anyone post about it, maybe they are too embarrassed they ordered direct and don't want the "I told you so's".

Yes, the ironic thing is the figures are good. Not as good as NECA might have done, nor as cheap, but for a small company and a semi fringe IP, pretty good. For ali prices, they are very good. Are they that inept? I wonder where they actually messed up, I can't see it being an intentional scam since they went so far with the production. But who knows.

Intentional scam is maybe not entirely accurate - as I'm sure on some level they wanted to make figures.

But given that these were the guys behind Megalopolis who took people's money for pre-orders and then closed up shop without delivering product -  there were warning signs that Premium DNA might be trouble.

They did seem to crank out some actual Battle Toads product -  but much like the long-lost Shocker Toys,  one round of product delivered seems to be the illusionary lure to get more customers for the next thing and then have that be too good to be true as they fail to deliver on what was ordered.    This subsequent company is now ghosting customers the same way their first company did.

Given that is seems like these figures did actually get made by a factory,  I'm guessing the PDNA guys ran out of funds and didn't pay the factory so the factory held on to the product - and that's why figures are leaking out through secondary sources like AliExpress but not getting to the people who made legitimate pre-orders.

KnightDamien tried to warn everybody about these guys way back when.
