I’ve wound up passing on these so far but I was excited when first announced. I just don’t trust Megalopolis and if you buy them from BBTS you allegedly don’t get some exclusive accessories that only come if you buy direct from megalopolis.
To add more distrust, megalopolis released some limited edition glow in the dark skeletons for this line which are listed as 300 piece release. I was briefly excited that these limited toys were still available when I went on their site.
Then I tried adding 1,000 to my cart to see if the page shows real time inventory. And sure enough, it let me add 1000 of the limited 300 worldwide total piece figures to my cart.
Months later, I check again today, same thing. So they’re either lying about how limited these are, or are going to scam payment until you dispute with your credit card company.
They 100% are lying, it will say in stock, but the minute you give them your money expect to wait as they use it, collect it, then place their order. I placed an order and have still been waiting for items that are supposedly "in stock"
Just reiterating that no one has ANY right to be surprised by any level of deception from these douchebags. You guys know who you're dealing with and if you choose to deal with them anyway, then that's on you.
Anyone with the battletoads frogs also collect Super7 Ultimates TMNT? I have no interest in a full Battletoads display but I could be convinced to buy the two frogs if I can put them alongside the TMNT Turtles and have it look cool and not weird. Obviously from different properties but how does the colors, aesthetics, and scale match up to the turtles themselves?

BBTS has these and Banjo for 40% off right now. Great price for some solid figures. (Oddly, Rash isn’t listed as on sale like the rest)
I heard a rumor recently that Premium DNA has lost the license to this property because it took them so long to get these out.
I'm not sure how true it is but it was enough to prevent me from buying the first figures.
I know they have (and rightly so) a lot of enemies due to their past bad behavior as Megalopolis so it wouldn't be out of line to consider that someone could have started the rumor to hurt their sales on the line.
If BBTS is dropping the price 40% to move them, it seems like sales on the line weren't all that great anyway.

Weird they haven't released the third toad yet.
I'm sorta tempted by the rat skeleton or even the GITD rat skeleton 2pk. I don't care about this property at all, but $27 for a skeleton monster isn't too bad. Figure it can fit into my Mythic Legions skeleton army. I do like GITD stuff, so I may go for the 2pk instead.
