With Noble 6 being introduced into the line, I wonder if there's any plans for the rest of Noble Team. Or are these Vault offerings just stuff which was on the bubble when the line ended at retail.
As much as I hope for the former I think it's probably the latter. This is Jazwares clearing out everything that was in an advanced state of development most likely.
Both the franchise and the line are in rough shape these days...
I think that's the case too, and it's a shame. It would have been so cool to round out the 1:18 Halo collection with the Reach crew.
@reefer-shark Agreed!
I have a few characters on my "Must Have" list that aren't likely to happen.
Linda - 058
Captain Keyes
Kelly - 087
ALL of Noble Team (Carter, Jorge, Cat, Emile, Jun)
All of ODST Bravo Team (Buck, Dutch, Mickey, Romeo)
Rtas 'Vadum (the Shipmaster from HALO 2 onward)
Oh absolutely agreed with those characters - I'll add the rest of the prophets to the wish list as well!
Really my biggest want out of the line after the main characters was a Scorpion tank - I imagined getting one and loading it up with marines. It would have capped off the vehicles in the line so perfectly for me.
No Forerunner figures makes this all BULLSHIT.
I don't think the Forerunners are that welcomed by players. I don't mind some of the designs, like Knights, but this line was largely based on Infinite which didn't have any Forerunner enemies in it.
A Scorpion tank or even a Pelican would have been awesome for this line. And a Banshee and Wraith. It's too bad the line didn't do better. Not sure what the prognosis is for the next Halo game. Maybe it could revive some interest in the brand. Even the Mega Halo line, which has been around since something like 2009, has been limping along.
Major bummer that we didn’t get the Noble Six team or Forerunner Knights.
I'd even go so far as to say I'd take a Banshee. It's been around since HALO: Combat Evolved and it wouldn't be larger than a Warthog.
I have two of the old McFarlane Hunters but I'd be all over some new Hunters too...
Yeah, I’d love some Hunters in this line.
@ashtalon Man I would have loved a Scorpion Tank or Pelican. That would have been great.
However I think this line didn't sell well because even here in Canada we saw it go on deep discount at retail. Walmart had stuff clearanced for $7-$9. That was most stuff from the smaller figure packs to the 6" Spartans. If you have Walmart Canada clearancing stuff for under $10Cdn you know they have a lot of stock to get rid of.
Are we all seeing that they fumbled right out of the gate by putting MC in *everything*? That plus the fairly lackluster build quality and range of motion in too many figures sapped everyone's enthusiasm from right out of the gate, imho. I don't know the relationship between JazWares and WickedCoolToys beyond their being a subsidiary; but they really needed this line to match the Fortnite line's standards and character diversity and they just didn't. This line could have been the greatest overall toyline since the RAH Joes but it's just a fumble-dicked flop.
