Donkey Kong (deluxe) arrived today but i have some issues with it. The head is HUGE, wish it was smaller, its mostly the mouth part though. the elbows have no front articulation just towards the inside? never seen that on a figure. The legs are pre-posed, which i hate but at least he stands up pretty straight. DK has a bulky body type and tape measures 7" inches (when standing straight)...This last thing is a Nit pik but the red tie doesn't droop down, it kinda stiff in the air, gonna have to tweak that with some heat.
Now i gotta look for some barrels, anyone know anybody who makes them?

Are they ever going to get around to Roy and Morton Koopa? I'm getting so tired of reissues of the same figures over and over.
Every time this thread has a new post I think that surely someone is reporting an announcement of those two. I'm pretty much out on WoN except for Roy and Morton or anything they happen to make from SMB 2.
They definitely did Wario towards the beginning of this line. They should release him again though, as it seemed that he sold well. I don't know what the original release of Wario goes for on the aftermarket these days. But I would think Jakks would benefit from releasing him again.
But Morton and Roy! For the love of God Jakks, could ya? Help us out here and finish these Koopa Kids.
I bought a 2.5" Baby Peach from Dollar General. First time I've seen that figure.
Old news, but I finally got BotW Link with master sword and hylian shield. The accessories are honestly impressive and pretty well done, everything's almost fully painted. But Link himself suffered a big change, his neck joint was changed for a bigger ballpeg. However, in the process they misshaped his head! He's got wider cheeks now, thanks to the ballpeg underneath. Alongside the poorer paintjob on his eyes he looks really funny compared to the original release.
I spotted the newer Fire Mario and Luigi with fire balls at GameStop the other day. I don't need them just for those little accessories, so I passed. Couldn't see much difference with either figure compared to past versions. The one variation eluding me at the moment is Builder Luigi. I didn't realize this existed, and I haven't seen him anywhere. Amazon third party has him at nearly $30.
Builder Luigi was released in Australia a while back (I want to say recently, but probably was like a couple of years ago). Surprised you didn't see it in the US, as we're so hit and miss over here.
We're so spotty that I never bothered with any of the Koopa kids. I just figured I'd never complete them even if they did release them all. My strategy is just wait and if they eventually knock them out, then surely they'll drop a box set of all of them in it. 😛

Ok, so I am a casual buyer of this line. I have a video game room that I've been slowly adding these guys to. Am I correct in that they do occasional re-releases? I'm kicking myself now because I remember seeing various characters like the Koopa Kids and others in the past and thinking they where cool, but never bothered to get any. The last year and a half is when I really started to pay attention and pick these guys up. Except for Yoshi. Yoshi sucks. That little green bastard has thrown one too many blue shells my way for me to ever forgive him.
For 4” I think all the boy Koopas have gotten rereleases in the last year or so and should be easy to find. I don’t think Wendy has, but she wasn’t released that long ago and I think she’s still cheap to find. Obviously Roy and Morton still haven’t been made.
For 2.5” I’m not sure about rereleases minus the 5 pack with the one minus Roy and Morton, who were only available in a checkout lane single pack and a GameStop exclusive multipack respectively and each sell for $100+ now.
