@docsilence spoilers, they look fantastic!  Especially Sagat.  Big man can MOVE!

Mostly posting here out of excitement, got in on the Walmart sale yesterday and while I didn't need any of them, I did order a Ryu in hopes he would be the rerelease with improved paint and that's what I received!  Really stoked, good timing with Sagat and Blanka going up.  Can't even be mad that I spent $25 on essentially a first draft Ryu while others got him for $10, I like Jada too much, take my money.

My two favorite characters are Sagat and Vega, so this wave will be the ultimate one for me.  Now I just need a 1:12 scale chain link fence to put Vega on...

@vicious7171 I don’t think there are any v1 wave 1 left at normal retail. I know a few new collectors who ordered wave 1 about a couple months ago at various online sites and everything was v2. There are probably just the resellers and some obscure local shop that probably still have v1 somewhere. Maybe Asia still has them out there. It’s weird because some of those collectors want that orange man Ryu. Vitamin C Ryu my local collectors dub him. Lol.

The funny thing with this particular Street Fighter cast of characters is I keep thinking "oh yeah they finally released my favorites!" but really, pretty much all the core cast is my favorite. Sagat and Blanka are my favorites, but I also got my favorites with Chun-Li and Cammy, but oh hey Vega is coming he's my favorite, and I will be saying that Zangif and E. Honda are my favorites when they come along. I love this line.

Check TEMU’s site.  They carry a lot of 1:12 scale items.  Many at pretty good prices too. I picked up some motorbikes for my Classified Dreadnoks there.

Then I'm intrigued to see where they take it.   Do they just grab characters from various games in amalgam waves or do they go game by game meticulously?

Im pretty sure they said they are picking characters and looks from all over the series once they finish SFII

Is there word on when Akuma goes up? Or Vega? It seems like aside from the con exclusive most of these are easy to find online but I have a feeling Akuma will be a quick sell out. 

I would think Vega will be up for preorder this month or next. He is technically a part of wave four. For one reason his preorder is staggered much like Guile was for wave 3. 

As for Akuma selling out…maybe?  Jada has gotten a lot better with con exclusives since Evil Ryu who is still up at AliExpress  by different vendors. Took awhile for Violent Ken and Pink Chunners to sell out on the Jada site but they are also on AliExpress still. I think Jada has an good idea of how much a con exclusive Akuma will sell so I wouldn’t worry too much for an instant sellout. And even if Akuma sells out, I doubt Jada will leave him as con exclusive only. They stand to make more money for a regular standard version with less accessories so I would expect a normal version at one point also. 

Did they say Akuma is a con exclusive? Seems weird to have a character be exclusive rather than a colorway.

@chooch555 Ah sorry. I think it’s just rumors at this point with Akuma being a con exclusive. I was just speaking hypothetically earlier.

So the purple variant Fei Long exclusive does exist. A Jada online and Wondercon exclusive. Available online on 28Mar2025 at 11:30am pst. I didn’t see a price but I’m guessing $35-40?

Fei Long is neat but hard to budget money and space to such a minor variant.  Those nunchaku look neat tho.  For me it's basically $35+shipping for accessories to use with my Fei Long with Wormhole brand Kung Fu outfit (which is still in-stock on 5ktoys and highly recommended!).  https://5ktoys.com/products/preorder-wormhole-studio-kung-fu-set-for-1-12-figures their shipping prices are reasonable and this set is a steal for $12.  It's worth that for the coat alone.

Back to the purple Fei Long, personally I would have rather had some static-movement (RE: swinging motion) nunchaku in addition to the chained ones for action poses than another flame kick effect.

I was just messing with Guile the other day and I did not realize how much better his butterfly joint is compared to everyone in wave 1 and 2. It’s still not great where you can pose is arms outstretched in front of him and have him cross his wrists, but he can actually get closer to a traditional Hadouken pose better that even Ryu and Ken currently. Hopefully the new butterfly artic Jada claimed to be on Akuma will eventually get translated to another classic release of Ryu and Ken. Maybe on SF3 Ryu and Ken or classic variant releases of Ryu and Ken for SF6. And hopefully it’s enough that they can get to do a real Hadouken pose without camera angle trickery. Not sure if another toy company has ever accomplished that with SF figures.
