Protoman! My most anticipated figure. Haven't picked up any of these yet, but with him on the way, I'll have to start soon
Deep Discount just added listings for wave one for the 1st time (I've been checking every few days since the line was announced) set for 8/28. I hope this is a sign of the line getting a wider release (and also more waves per year).
Is it just me, or has this line been moving slower than Street Fighter?
I feel like I remember (which can absolutely be wrong) them both being revealed at the same time, and now we have 9 figures from SF, but only 3 from MM...
Definitely not you, but SF did have at least their 1st wave out like 6 months before MM. Not sure about reveals/announcements.Is it just me, or has this line been moving slower than Street Fighter?

Definitely not you. With the requirement of one Mega Man repaint a wave, SF being a wave ahead, two exclusives of unique characters, and many exclusive repaints of so many SF characters... they are far far behind.
SF has 19 unique characters announced, while Mega Man has 9. (not counting pack-in enemies)
Sad that there was no news. It's like they want this line to be forgotten about. SDCC was nice, but we still don't know when wave 3 drops. If they reveal Fall of '25 a grown might actually cry about his toys for the 1st time in decades. 😏
Jada is simply not big enough(currently) to keep up with the big boys when it comes to action figures. As long as they are still producing Megaman and other lines I like like SF, I’ll just remain patient. We may have to wait a few more years for them to speed things up.
If every company pumped out figures I wanted to buy at the rate of Hasbro, Mattel, and Neca, I would be one stressed out collector. I'm kind of thankful for the Jadas, Fresh Monkey Fictions, and Boss Fights and their rate of production. It makes for a nice balance, even if it is slightly frustrating for line completion.
Not surprised they didn't show anything new. There's still only 3 figures out right now so there's no sense in adding to the backlog. If they're at Toy Fair in February, then maybe you'll see another figure or two come then. And by then there will be obviously be more figures out in the wild.
IIRC in a recent interview, the Jada guy inferred that Street Fighter was selling better than Mega Man. So it makes sense they'd want to finish SF, strike while the iron is hot, since one of the highlights of that line is how quickly (compared to Storm) they're making all the roster.
I'm looking forward to these Mega Man figs, mostly the Megas (I love the Ice Mega they showed) and a few extras like Protoman, Rush, Zero, X, Vile, and Roll, whenever they get to them. I'm hoping we see MMX and MMBN designs eventually.
I'm fine with them coming out at a moderate pace, but 3 figures per year could be too slow and possibly harmful to the line. I didn't expect reveals, but just was hopeful for a date for wave 3.
@vicious7171 Yeah, SF is and will always be much more popular/profitable than MM and I hope it does well enough for the company that it helps Jada to be able to take chances in the future with other lines.
Deep Discount sold out of their Mega figures pretty quickly, so that's good. I just hope Fire and Ice sell out too so they will have reason to carry later waves.
Are the Mega Man figures only online? I don't mind ordering, but I like seeing figures in person most of the time. I do want a Mega Man and maybe a few of the bots for my video game room.
@spongyblue They seem to be, at least for now. I know there was talk of the distribution widening after the 1st wave, but that was over a year ago and I haven't heard anything since. Perhaps a LCS might carry them.
