Looks like some early photos have leaked showing LioKaiser as the next Haslab.   Guess we'll find out in less than an hour.

$300.  I think I'm out at that price.  It's not even that I don't think it's worth it for the amount of figures involved, that's just a big price tag.

I did get Victory Sabre and Deathsaurus and I did want a Liokaiser but looking at what they're offering here? Nah, I'm out too, it just doesn't look premium.

Uh, can't one get all these guys from Iron Factory at half the cost and twice the quality?

Yeah $300US is a big ask for me as a Canadian.   If it was paid for today it would cost me closer to $500Cdn.   I am not that big a fan of Japanese G1 or Liokaiser.  So I'll probably pass.

It should still unlock all the tiers easily and the final total should be over 20,000 backers.

Liokaiser:

First 20(ish) hours:

3,808 / 10,000 38.08% of funding goal with 44d 16h left.

Good start, but not looking forward to the mid-funding doldrums.

Uh no just no

it is not premium at all with those huge gaps at the wrist area

I've been very annoyed at all these spaces and hollowed out areas

I have no idea who this guy is and am glad I could skip this Haslab. Happy for those that want him though. There’s just too many TF wants I have in the upcoming regular retail lines this year plus whatever Joe Haslab that skipping this Haslab is a nice break for me. As always I hope it fully funds for the backers.

C'mon.....you know you want to get it.   Why bother with pesky things like fiscal responsibility, or having self control?

I'm kind of surprised that I don't feel a big connection/want (FOMO) for this Haslab.   I guess it's because I am not a huge Japanese G1 fan.   Also I had the Combiner Wars version of Liokaiser and never even opened it before selling it (for a nice profit).

Usually if I feel even a small bit of connection to a Haslab I will back it and worry about keeping it later.   This time I am kind of "meh" about it.   It looks good, but I don't think I care enough to cough up the dough needed to back.   Also as of right now I don't see myself getting much FOMO for this Haslab.

But it's all new to me characters... which are in short supply these days.

So that is a good thing?    Just asking if that means you are more likely to back this Haslab, or it doesn't make much of a difference?

Also:

Liokaiser:

4,190 / 10,000  (+382)  41.90% of funding goal with 43d 15h left.

Yeah, it's a plus for me.  I have 13,000 Optimus Primes, but no Leozaks, Gaihawks, etc.  For the record FOMO won out in under two days.  We ended up getting a tax refund I wasn't expecting which was all I really needed to tip me over the edge.

Ordered two of these.

Wish I could afford at least one more though.
