I don't remember is this news came out before the old forums went down, but I'm pretty stoked about Flynn's announcement of Super7 Tigersharks to complete the Thunder Force trifecta.
I remember that series probably more fondly than it deserves, but it was a favorite of mine as a kid.
I remember Tigersharks way more than Silverhawks for some reason or another.
That doesn't guarantee me buying them, just saying I still don't think Silverhawks were real.

Is this a niche offshoot of the Birds aren't real conspiracy???
I have almost no memory of Tigersharks other than their existence. Don't think it was ever on TV around here, but neither was Silverhawks. I think we rented VHS episodes of Silverhawks, and were only aware of it thanks to the rad toy line. I am not on board for Tigersharks.
Yeah... I am stoked for Tiger Sharks Ultimates to stand next to my Thundercats and Silverhawks. I think I said in the previous forum that I wouldn't need a ton of waves of these guys - at most 4 waves of 4 figures - but I'm guessing Super7 may try to extend it by giving us the Sharks in their "civilian" forms as well as their Shark forms?
Maybe not. Regardless I am happy these are supposed to be solicited next year.
And am happy that Thundercats seems to just keep rolling along as well.
I prefer animation accurate over toy accurate from Super7, but had cancelled the preordered Silverhawks over the face sculpts I saw. Now the Vac Metal is out and look super cool, but don't match my Thundercats. When Tigersharks drop, they will match the Thundercats and should look amazing in the display.
What a quandary. Go back and order the Cartoon Silverhawks or deal with having the Chrome eyesores in the display....
So... I'm going with the cartoon Silverhawks with their face exposed heads, and then the shiny Silverhawks with their masks on in their "powered up" looks. Maskless versions will be standing in front, masked versions will be flying poses on flight stands behind.
For the Tiger Sharks I'll only want the powered up versions - I don't think I can be bothered buying the "civilian" forms.
Now I just need some of these Thundercats waves I've ordered to start showing up.
