What are the silver rings with Snarfer supposed to be?
I think they are shackles - one for each arm and one for the tail. If I remember correctly, in the first episode with Snarfer he was captured by Rataro and he had those shackles on him. Rataro crossed his sai's and he could move Snarfer with the shackles.
It was in the episode Feliner.
Oh snap... it's about to get expensive. Entertainment Earth is listing some of Wave 12 as in stock right now and available to ship... so that means I'm going to be getting a big ol' bill from BBTS very soon. I think I've got Claudus, two royal guards, a Berbil and the Amok/Luna 2-pack ordered... so that's like $300 in one drop. Time to go sell some plasma 😉
I got my BBTS pre-ordering for all 4 of the Ro-Bear-Bill wave.
Same, got the processing soon e-mail for all 5 of those figures I ordered. It's about to get expensive up in here.
I will be curious once I have the Super7 Berbil in hand to compare it to the Joe Amaro Berbils I bought years ago. I have had those Berbils in my display for seven years now, so, I've gotten pretty used to them. It will be interesting to see how Super7's version measure's up.
I received Ro-Bear Bill today from EE and canceled my BBTS order. I was surprised by how big he is. That considered, he's pretty well articulated and even painted pretty well. I will definitely have to shift the display around to fit him in there. He's almost wider than he is tall. I think I'm good on Berbils, if they offered more, I would pass.
I was thinking, I wouldn't be opposed to them releasing Snarf in the deluxe format. I passed on him at full price and now he's gone. But I'd get him at $35 even if bare bones.
@normdapito Wow, this was almost exactly my reaction when I opened him. Nice, but bigger than I thought, not going to fit as easily as I expected, and I don't have room for anymore Berbils. 😀
Wow.... anybody clock the In-Stock price increase for the current wave at BBTS? Ber-Bill, Claudus and Guard are all now $59.99 and Luna/Amok is $92.99. That's a $5 increase each on the regular figures and a $7 raise on the 2-pack.
That is an interesting development and I wonder if a sign of things to come or...
Question for anyone who has light-up Lion-O:
I had the original Mattel version and sold him for the Super 7 original version, but it's always bothered me that he doesn't look much like the show. Is the light-up version more on-model in hand? I feel like the Lion-O is the weak spot in my display, so I'm looking to replace him. Any thoughts pro or con? (I probably won't use the light-up heads much, but instead display with the standard.)
There are some comparison shots up between the Ultimates and Deluxe versions of Cheetara and Tygra
https://twitter.com/ThunderCatsUlt/status/1912407091697922392
Nice. I like that on Cheetarah the right arm looks "flesh" tone much more so than on the previous version and that hips are much narrower and overall she looks a tad more petite. Solid. I may pick up a couple to use for fodder. As for Tygra - the only real differences are the darker blue tone is darker on the new version than on the previous one, they painted the right bicep cuff with the darker blue but they left off the gold paint hits for the left shoulder cuff and boot adornments.
I love the deluxe Thundercats at $35 just for custom fodder. Going to have to pick up one two extra Tygra figures as well. Here's hoping they are able to get more done in this line (and that tarriffs don't kill Super7's figure lines dead).
I received wave 11 yesterday. I know others have had them for a while.
I think Luna and Amuk is the stand out of the wave. I set them up with Alluro and Chilla and I think they look great together. Hopefully the line will last long enough for TugMug and Red Eye as I really want to complete the Lunataks.
Ro-bear bill is a decent figure and as others have said surprising large considering how small Snarfer was. Cladus and Thundarian Guard are nice to have, but I don't feel like they are must haves. I have them on display with young Lion-O, Jaga, and Gruune. Kyle Peterson reviewed the Thundarian Guard a while back and mentioned he is wearing a summer dress and I can't unsee it now.
Considering Cladus and the Guard weren't really main characters I was thinking about how the line will be winding down. As I said hopefully we can finish the Lunataks and on top of that the Berserkers and a few other characters. That may even take a few years to get there as Wave 12 is scheduled for around October.
One idea for a wave I had was they could make the four Ancient Spirits of Evil. I was thinking since they don't need moveable parts (or minimal moveable parts), they could maybe use some of the budget for assembly and parts to make them bigger, but this is Super 7 so I doubt they would make them bigger without adding to the price.
I still haven't received my Light up eyes Lion-O and Mumm-Ra. I think I got wave 10 before most others, but lately I'm getting my stuff later. As long as I get them eventually I don't mind.
Thanks for that. I just finally shipped my pile of loot with these guys in it on Monday, so probably have them in hand next week some time.
In the mean time I got my Ultimates Tygra and Cheetara from Target yesterday. They are solidly constructed, though the joints are stiffer and in some cases a bit tricky to get moving - cheetara's hips were a struggle to get to move laterally and I was afraid I was breaking the figure. The lack of gold paint hits on Tygra is pretty noticeable in hand.
But they certainly feel like better value than the Ultimates figures that were $20 more and came with a handful more parts.
The Deluxe Tygra came with his whip (fully extended) and that's it. The Ultimates Tygra came with one extra head with a snarling expression, 4 extra hands, and 2 other iterations of the whip - one compact, one mildly extended and the one fully extended. But the loss of those things feel worth saving $20 for sure.
If I run across these guys in Target when I'm there shipping I will definitely impulse buy more for customs.
Now hoping Wave 13 (wait is 13 the sky cutter w/ new Vulture Man? - do I mean 14?) is revealed before the end of the year - and hoping it includes at least one Lunatak and one Berzerker... and then whatever else they want to do.
Well, who knows... I have to finish them first 🤣 I'm really good at getting 75% done and then getting distracted and forgetting to finish... but really it's because I'm not good with photo set up, don't have a photo sharing site and am crap with linking pictures to the forums - and it all seems like a lot of work. But maybe someday. I'm sure once my son is off at college I'll find myself with a dangerous amount of free time and then...perhaps 😉
Wave 14 images have leaked:

Definitely a solid wave. Only 3 figures again probably due to the size of one of the figures.
King Lion-O looks great. Looks to be the newer mold. Not sure the alternate head is different enough to be warranted. Otherwise lots of good accessories. Gotta get that heavy hitter in the wave.
Red Eye is another good offering. Also another Lunatak!!! Overall not bad, but I kind of wish the disc on his chest was removable, or at least offered as an accessory. If anyone should have light up eyes.......haha like Super7 would spend the money on a single use mold.
Wizz Ra!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now we're talking. Looks great, and finally a justifiable inclusion of multiple hands. Love the energy hands and the lightning shooting hands. Head sculpts look good, but the render almost always do, it is the execution in production that will tell the tale.
