I can't wait for this line, the Lion-O figure that they have shown concept art of looks very promising!

Yeah 1/6 scale is a non-starter for me.   Space and entry price combine to keep me away.    I'll admire the pictures.

Too big to buy and display, just the right size to ogle from a distance.

The concept art looks cool.  I think the price and space will also keep me from going too deep into this.

I was thinking I may get Lion-O and assuming they make him - Mumm-Ra and that's it.

Which one? The Ever Living or the other one?

Mondo is one of those lines where I would buy one or 2 as a centerpiece. I would love to have Skeletor and Panthor but I can't justify the expense 🙁

In my mind I was thinking the Ever Living verion, but now that you mention it I wouldn't mind the mummy version either.

I am hopeful for a full Lion-O reveal at SDCC. The renders indicate that the figures in this line will be plussed up with more realism and a unique Mondo take on the characters, just like they have done with their MOTU line, and not what they have done/are doing with their Batman TAS, X-Men TAS and Spider-man TAS figures.

I think this is a very good thing if so, as Super7 have already covered off the animation design replica's so Mondo doing their own thing, albeit still inspired by the 1980's show, is the right path for them to take.

Just thinking ahead a bit, I saw an episode the other day that had the Snowman of Hook Mountain fighting Lion-O. He was riding on top of a large cat, Snowmeow. May Mondo be able to re-use the Battle Cat/Panthor body once again to give their version of the Snowman of Hook Mountain a steed? I'm thinking yes.

Lion-O and Snarf have been revealed on SDCC preview night and I love the more realistic take on these characters!

Pixel Dan has a video of Lion-O & Snarf...  Lion-O looks cool; for some reason that Snarf looks creepy to me.

It looks like Mondo are going for a very serious tone with the characters in this line, no smiling or happy Lion-O head etc. and Snarf looking very gritty and disturbed. I dig that seriousness personally, it is like the characters are living in a dangerous world and are on edge and ready for battle.

I think Snarf's facial expression is a bit weird so I get some of the criticism I have seen about him, but in a general paint and detail sense, Snarf looks fantastic.

Yeah I'm going to probably see Snarf in my nightmares tonight.  Imagine looking under your bed and seeing THAT face.

These remind me of the terrible WildStorm comics near the end of that run. Dark and gritty ThunderCats aren't for me.

Mondo announced a Mumm-Ra figure at their panel, (the Ever-Living version), and he comes with Ma-Mutt who has a swappable head of his own.

I wonder if/when they release a Mumm-Ra mummy version, we will get a sarcophagus to put him in? That would be pretty neat.

Toy Bro had a post on X with a picture of the concept art for the figure:
