Leo arrived from Amazon today. I promptly snapped one of the katana from its hilt. After taking time to fix it, messing around with Leo was pretty much just like Raph and Mike. He’s fine, but his grips are all too tight. That’s how I broke the sword. Gotta wait a week for Don.

Did the same thing on mine. Heat up the hands, folks. Especially on Leo.
Finally received Donnie, who got bumped up a week. Pretty happy with how these look especially with Furay Leatherhead.
Got my turtles in from BBTS on Saturday right as I was leaving for work, so i was only able to get them opened this morning.
I have to say I like them quite a bit. Definite improvement over the OG toon figures I have from them already.
Definitely didn't need to spend the extra money on the SDCC versions with the sloppy washes. I have some water soluble oil paints in black and brown that should work well for these, and I can control where the washes go.
I was also happy to see that the extra belt Raph has can come right off with no issues, so his throwing stars will never fall out when he's on the shelf.
Dang, that's some nice elbow range on Mikey...
Shredder's scale with the turtles doesn't look too bad!

The only big issue I see is that the butterfly joints are the wrong color; they should be blue like the shirt, as you can see from the shirt's texture
Shredder looks really good next to Leo, I really hope the scaling for the rest of these figures hold true.
I was really hoping that we'd get some reveals of characters from that leaked list at Toy Fair, hopefully we'll get them soon. I'm looking forward to filling out the TMNT collection with the IDW figures.
Toy Fair is for retail buyers and a lesser extent press, so it's not like SDCC or NYCC. Having it between those two conventions this year also seemed to have limited what quite a few companies have actually brought to the show. Likely more has already been shown to buyers from some of the big retailers by other means through the year, and they'll go up sometime end of the year/early in the new year.

Definitely agreed, the IDW stuff is quickly going to become my primary TMNT collection
Dig those customs!
I've got my turtles displayed with the white out eyes. I've gotta look at those eyes with the colored irises, because your figures look so different from mine.
Also, I kinda wish Mikey wasn't so turquoise in his skin tone. He really stands out among the four. Is that how his colors are in the book?

Some issues his coloration is more different than the other 3, but in general I don't think it's quite as noticeable. Also thanks for the kind words about the customs, they were fun to do. I'm using the white out eyes as well, but I'm using the Raph from the motorcycle set, which has 2 unique headsculpts that are different from the single pack one, so that might be one point of difference.
Cracked these open from BBTS the other day and honestly... this is the scale, sturdiness, and ROM I've wanted forever for the boys. I really love these guys. Paint's a little sloppy, but I don't care. I've got so many turtles and they've all been a little off from what I wanted design-wise. These'll be my display fellas for a while. Going to have to look at Shredder and the rest too.

Agreed, I really like the size and articulation of these IDW Turtles, although I do wish they could look up and had better paint as well.
