Damn it! I mean not that you found it, I am stoked about that. But that it was at Target again. Target seems to be the ONLY place on Earth getting Ray Fillet. I don't have any Targets close to me right now. The nearest one is 45 minutes away. But as I've mentioned in other TMNT threads, it's currently busy sliding down the edge of a giant hill, and I can't shop there.
I was hoping you found yours at Wal-Mart. I got plenty of those around. But I've never seen anyone report finding one there.
Hopefully I can get to some Targets soon. I'll have to make a Ray Fillet Quest. I also want some of the NECA stuff that's out right now.
I do keep watching for Ray on Targets website though.
I started reading along in this thread and I was like... wait is Ray Filet hard to find? I've seen tons of him over the last couple of weeks... but then I kept reading and yep, all of them at Target. I hit dozens of Target stores all over California hoping to luck into a Warbird (which I didn't) - and Ray was spotted frequently. But that is of little help to my friend the exceptional dromedary...
It's a dry, baron waste land out here in the East for us Camels. We are in a drought, and the Ray Fillets like the wet. The Fillet is elusive, and he fetches about $50+ on Ebay right now for some insane reason.

Some good deals on Target right now. They are taking 20% of playsets and select toys. I got the Mutant Mayhem Sewer Lair playset and the Mutant Mayhem Turtle Van for $70! I think with tax and all it was like $77 and it was Free shipping.
But Target already had the playset reduced from $80 to $64, and the Van reduced from $35 to like $27. But right now, they are taking an additional 20% off those reduced prices.
So, the playset is like $51 and the Van is like $21
What is happening! Ray Fillet was $50 on Ebay which was stupid. Now, he's $70! Didn't this figure just start coming out? And it seems like a lot of you on the West Coast find him easy. Yet he keeps going up in price on Ebay like he was some rare final figure in a final Wave that only showed up in Britain.

Isn't it ALWAYS like that with figures when they first come out? The impatient people willing to over pay send the end of auction totals up which causes other sellers to raise their prices to make some extra cash from those same types of people.
I've seen most of this line in bulk at multiple stores after that first initial influx of product. He shouldn't be hard to find eventually, you just need to disregard the "gotta have it NOW" mentality.
Oh, I'm definitely disregarding it. I'm just surprised it KEEPS going up. You're right, when things first come out, they do go for higher prices online always. But while this hasn't been out long, it's been out a month or two, and it's part of a kids line that is easy to find, and when it started out at $30/$40 a month ago, I figured that was as high as it would go.
But it just keeps going up even though it seems to come out more and more. Which seems odd. it probably isn't though.
But fear not SalemCrow. I will not give in and pay $70 for Fillet. I just can't believe that's what he's going for at this point.
Finally found Bebop and Rocksteady Tots during a trip home this past week, so I'm all caught up. Hope the remaining Mutanimals Toys are still on the docket. Went to a couple Wal Marts and looked through the big cardboard shipper, and it was the same across the board- a ton of turtles (as is always the case), one or two Bishops here and there, but not a single Metalhead, Mechazoid, or Ray. The tots were also the only one I found all trip; nice to see they're all selling. Also saw a single High School Raphael from the new Mutants Unleashed line, but didn't grab him just yet. I probably will eventually, but seeing the turtles without their masks just feels wrong to me, especially in plain clothes; just looks like a bald guy with jaundice or some other bad skin disease.

I found Ray Filet a few days ago and picked him up. Found him again today.....two of him...and left him. I had no knowledge of the high ebay prices before coming to this thread to say:

Been keeping an eye out for the new Tales figures from the second half of the season, to no luck just yet. Still seeing lots from the first; part of me is tempted to grab another Mechazoid or two, but I wanna save some shelf space for the others too.
