They seem like they're backed up as I posted in the movie thread my Christmas set got cancelled when I asked for an update after it sat in label created purgatory for 2+ weeks. I had to put in a new order which Walmart says will arrive by the middle of next week, but I'm guessing it doesn't even ship by then. Curious what priority the NYCC sets will get in the shipping queue.

The amount of people on that one post in that one group that had gotten duplicate free labs was a bit alarming. Customer service responded with the expected "we expect these to ship within the next few weeks" spiel.

I like how Panda Khan and Tattoo came out but I don’t feel compelled to add them to my collection.
Is there a full picture of Panda Khan anywhere or just that little half image there? I don't do much in the way of Toon Turtles at all but Panda Khan is a huge favorite of mine and will be a must have.
I snagged a couple of those cartoon street scene diorama's as I didn't collect this line when they were first released, but damn, NECA are charging a LOT for their shipping these days!

That may be the last Turtles figure I need to buy - I keep saying that and it keeps not being true, if they do a King Lionheart I certainly wouldn't pass that up... but stoked for this guy
@panthercult Literally the first thing I thought when I saw the cartoonized toy characters was that I would be so excited to see NECA's take on a cartoon King Lionheart.
I haven't been going at this line too hard. It's VERY expensive to get these in Canada since the only retail outlet that you can -occasionally- get them from is TRU, and TRU is famously overpriced here. So far I only had the Leo/Donnie Cartoon Adventures set, ultimate April, and the Pizza Club Turtles (all of which came from Aliexpress because I never saw any of them locally), after having sold off my original collection way back in the early days of the line. Ran across a great deal locally, though, so I've added some new guys to the collection.
For context, the regular two-packs at TRU go for 80 dollars CAD and the regular figures are like 50. There was a guy here selling a loose/complete lot of Rat King, Vernon, Zork, Screwloose, and Wingnut (plus the Loyal Subjects Tokka, which I do not care about at all) for 80 bucks. Got the guy to deliver them for an extra tenner, because I did not want to drive a half hour there and a half hour back.
The only complaint I have is that, unlike in the picture, he delivered me a Screwloose with the head broken off and missing. Said he'd bring the head another day, but now he's giving us the run-around a bit so I'm not sure if that's going to happen or not.
Still.. smokin' good deal considering what these figures cost here. Even if the Wingnut set is a write-off, it's still basically like getting Zork for free (and Tokka, but again - don't care).
That being said, I don't have any interesting insights here. These are typical NECA cartoon figures. They look fantastic, and have the ROM of my grandmother on a cold morning. I'm trying not to go crazy on this line, but the Rat King set has been on my radar for a long time and I couldn't bring myself to spend 80 on it, so I'm pretty excited. I also think I can probably live with Wingnut and no Screwloose, if I have to. I'm more a fan of the idea of a Batman Bat Man than I am attached to the actual characters so....
I wish this line were easier/more cost effective to collect here.
KD, your plight makes me sad and makes me want to get your want list, find the figures and smuggle them across the border to you - maybe not in the dead of winter though, I hear Canada is cold...
I'm not the biggest TMNT guy but NECA keeps finding a way to sell some figures to me. Though I've been wishing for Panda Khan for a while I kind of thought he might be off the table since there was apparently some separate rights issue to work out. I'm glad to see him. I don't know how likely a Lionheart actually is, but at this stage I can never say never since I really didn't think Panda was in the cards either.
@panthercult Haha. Just tie the figures to the nearest goose. It will find me. They're the guardians and protectors of Canada, and more reliable than CanadaPost. But yeah, it's a shitty situation. Total first world problems kind of thing, of course. Oh boo hoo, I have to pay extra to find a specialty toy. But still. Sucks. Maybe it's better in the end because the higher price and difficulty getting them makes me way more selective. If these were at every Walmart, I'd be carrying $6k in turtle debt. Famously the second worst kind of debt right after goose debt. Never owe a goose money.
I'm tempted to say King Lionheart is almost a 0% chance, but I probably would have said that about like five or six things NECA has made in this line alone, so I don't even know anymore. All I can say is, if NECA is listening, I will buy a King Lionheart even if it costs me twice as much as it costs my southern neighbors, just as I did for Samurai Mikey (Samurai Leo in my collection).

The amount of people saying they won't send it back or that have already sold it is disheartening. I don't expect to ever get mine because I doubt Neca goes back into production on it.
@justice No reason they wouldn't, this is just the quickest method of getting the product back.
