Made it! They shipped today, and for some reason are Next Day Air with UPS and should be here tomorrow. Also, they are available on the Best Buy website again.
Incredible! For Anthony to rave about it really says something. If the government ever gives the population another stimulus it should include mailing everyone this figure. But then again I easily preferred Raphael's design to the rest. He and the Foot Ninjas are the standouts after the original release.
I think they're releasing Ghost Turtles too, it was teased at a convention. Hope they go into P2.

(And unrelated to TLR, Venus & Jennika. In Toon style, if they have to. My "default" display is mostly Toon with most Archie [I still prefer VG Slash over every other iteration], and a few Mirage [Renet, Fugitoid, Savanti Romero], anyway.)
There's no way they don't make figures of those new guys from the sequel mini. This year or next for sure.
I purchased the Foot Bot to get free shipping. At one point I was going to pass on it, in an attempt to be more frugal. Oh what a fool I was. That figure is so fun! I have been snowed in all week and have really enjoyed it. I am seriously considering selling all my other foot soldiers, becasue this may be the only one I want to use. It is hitting the right notes for me.
Agreed. The ghost Turtles that Mike talks to were shown hiding behind a window at ToyFair I think so they should be coming soon. I finally finished reading the series - it was great! We gotta get Shredder and Stockman for sure. There were some other cool warrior looking characters I'd like.
Then it gets interesting with Last Ronin II starting soon. Jason Aaron writing the reboot of the main series - how much will Ronin influence that?? Will NECA get to more IDW toys? I think yes and everything is pretty exciting right now with the Turtles.
From the press release, it sounds like the success of Last Ronin will heavily influence Aaron's run of TMNT, and we're going to get a more rough and tumble, gritty take on the TMNT. Last Ronin really helped keep IDW afloat the past few years and TMNT is by far their MVP, without the Turtles they might not survive. But their run is also on Issue 150 and Campell's vision definitely hit some mixed reviews. Directing the fervor of Last Ronin into a tonally similar mainline seems like a good way to continue to sell to that audience. I hope it pans out, really excited for what comes next.
And definitely more IDW figures by NECA.

So the Last Ronin Casey has a page on Walmart's site, but they're saying it's not available until Collector Con:
I am skeptical of the claim that he is "Collector Con Exclusive" however, given that the page for NECA's Classic Monsters Professor Burke figure says the same thing even though I've had him on pre-order at BBTS for months now. First-to-market seems more likely to me.
I would be surprised if he remains exclusive to Walmart's con since it doesn't appear to be a variant. Probably won't that hard to get either way since the Last Ronin stuff doesn't seem to go fast. Really, only the turtles seem to evaporate quickly and I suppose the toon April.
People on a Facebook group I'm a part of have all loved him.
Can't wait for my bloody version, especially since my Usagi set won't ship until he does.

I'm glad to hear that. I'll probably hold off on the NECA stuff since it's all "early" releases. I need to fight other nerds for that MOTU snake man and the Prowler ML.
I'm trying to avoid this line because none of the figures released so far quite do it for me, there is something about the turtle heads that I don't like, they look a bit like an angry pea, even if they are comic accurate.
However I keep thinking of that large mural that you can build by putting all of the boxes together side-by-side and I want in! 🤣 😍
That surely isn't a reason by itself to start collecting an action figure line though is it? Because of the boxes?
