Last time we saw that--a bunch of TMNT offerings with no clear release window...we ended up having a 700 dollar Spring Haulathon. REALLY hope they're not doing that to us again. My wife *still* gives me shit about that.
Oh, we're probably in for another round of that stuff. It seems to work, and that's all NECA is going to concern itself with.

I tried to order from Target, no matter what I tried it didn't work.
Not looking forward to any more haulathons ever again...but that's probably how it will go down.

Finally got my "Missing Volume" printed!
What sucks is, all of the intricacies I tried SO hard to get right, and I f***ed up the spine details.
I'll have to live with it. I don't want to get in trouble, or get the printer in trouble, since I literally made a bootleg lol.
The "Not for Resale" pages were my idea, to hopefully cover everyone's butts as much as possible (no, I don't think that would hold up against a C&D order, lol).
It turned out really, REALLY nicely, though. The cover could be a skosh glossier, but that's my only real complaint with the printer's work (and like I said, the spine details not lining up was 1,000,000,000,000% MY fault in the design)(and I mean, the maroon & blue on the spine don't perfectly match the bordering volumes' spines either, but that was going to be the hardest thing in general, as I knew scanning them wouldn't be foolproof).
And sharing this in a TMNT FB group, I got a comment by the dude working on The Forever War, so I e-mailed him about getting a copy for myself!
Has anything been said or hinted anywhere when those wrestling Turtles might be coming out?
If I remember correctly, when they were shown off at the cons, they were still early protos with no articulation cut in yet, so they might still be a ways off.
They're later this year, probably a fall release. We're looking at spring for the cartoon four-pack, summer for the Mirage second run on that four-pack, and I would guess fall for the Archie one. If things didn't stay on schedule though then who knows? They were definitely intended as a 2024 release when revealed last year.
I hate to admit the inactivity played a part in my selling of all the Archie figures this past week. It's probably not a very smart or healthy way to collect, y'know, dumping a line if there isn't a constant drip of new figures.

That is a shame that you did that, as a line like this is probably only going to have 4 to 6 new figures a year.
Maybe you will recollect the line once they get a few more releases out.
Side note, y'all excited about Forever War? The finished hardcover is printed, there's pictures of it existing. Hope we get it soon.
