I think this is probably just their new standard price in anticipation of cost increases from tariffs and trade wars and etc.

We’ll see, if they’re still charging 35 for other Ultimates style figures, then it really could just have to do with the size of the figures.

Probably a little of both. He is big, not as big as Cryin' Hound, and more big in the sense that NECA probably feels like it can charge more than it did for someone like Leatherhead, but I think he might have been 40 and felt kind of steep as well due to a lack of accessories. I am anticipating increases this year though so it just might be the right time to become a bit more discretionary. This one feels like the last wrestling figure I want so there's some pull to just bite the bullet. I don't care about the masked Cryin' Hound variant that's coming.

After being MIA all morning, Ace Duck is now up on Walmart.com. Shipping is five bucks and it's listed as a preorder not expected to ship until July.

It's pretty incredible how Walmart still can't figure out this collector-thon thing in 2025. I was logged in at 6:55am pacific and refreshed every minute or two until about 8:30, he was nowhere to be found. I took a break, now he's sold out lol

Ah, well. I'll find him in-store eventually.

For me, he shows as in stock until I put him in the cart and proceed to checkout. Then it tells me he's out of stock and he gets moved to a wishlist.

Edit: the same happens with Chote.

@therealsmallville that sucks. I was at work and ready to go at 10 EST and he popped up in-stock a few minutes late just long enough for me to get him into my cart, but not check out. I kept checking periodically all morning and then finally left the office a little after noon only to find him in-stock when I got home about half an hour later. I could have easily missed it. Walmart really is the worst. And who knows if it will ever even ship? Since NECA handles it, I feel a little better about it than if Walmart was being counted on to ship these things.

Sorry to hear that, I added him to cart but didn't try checking out, that's a bummer.  Feels like there's a good chance they will have more when he's released in July.  They've had decent stock of all their NECA figures lately, even Shredder is in stock.  Seems a lot easier than buying from Target.
