I actually found a couple Mousejaws this morning. No Turtles, though.

I've been seeing Mousejaw somewhat frequently, but haven't seen any turtles which is the only thing from this line I'd consider buying. At least it's saving me money!

They may have sold already, my Target got them and they were gone the next day, I think they only got one set of 4.

Mousejaw ships separately from the rest. I saw the remnants of Wave 1 a couple of weeks ago and Mousejaw arrived a little over a week later. I'd be surprised if more shipments aren't coming.

If the deluxe figures are Target exclusive, it makes sense that it'd be a separate case than the wave itself.

I haven't seen any of the wave, but a bunch of Mouse Jaw.

I finally got my Leo from BBTS today ('finally' because BBTS takes fucking forever to ship a POL, and then CanadaPost lost the package for a week when it got to Canada).

Not telling any secrets here but this is a cool figure. More good than bad but there are definitely a few negatives even beyond normal things I don't love about Origins like the lack of vertical wrist hinges.

He feels big. Like, a tiny bit too big compared to other regular Origins figures. Weird complaint? Maybe. It's not a big deal or anything, but it was something I noticed as soon as I put him next to Ninjor (who also arrived today). I think it's a combination of big feet, big hands, and a big head creating that feeling that the entire figure is just 'bigger' than everyone else. Again, not the end of the world but I find it pretty noticeable when he's next to regular Origins figures.

The sword is terrible. The design is not good. It's way too big. It only really works when it's together, rendering the splitting function worthless. Not great. I also think they messed up the hands. The 'pinky finger?' should be into the fist more, to create a nice tight grip. As it is, he doesn't have the greatest grip on his sword even when it's together - forget about when it's split in half. I'm planning on eventually using a different Origins sword with him anyway, so we'll see how that goes. Ninjor's sword is very loose in his hand, though.

I expected to hate the removable shell gimmick, but it's actually kind of fun. Still ridiculous, but in a way I'm enjoying. And the figure just overall looks great. In terms of looks, I do think he'd be even better if the big fur element on his upper back were removable independent of the harness - like the shell is.

Even so - I love it. But I've always been a sucker for Leo variants. I will say that this figure hasn't convinced me that I need more beyond the ones that -really- appeal to me (Sla'Ker and Shredder so far), but definitely a hugely fun addition to my Origins collection. And even so, if these were readily available in actual stores I'd have a hard time resisting them. Having to actually go online and order them and pay US prices plus conversion plus shipping makes passing on all but my favorites MUCH easier.

Have we seen Casey in the comics or anything yet? He's the character I'm most excited to see what they do with and I'm hating the wait lol

I agree about the sword. That's why I gave him NECA's Last Ronin katana. Also made a custom shield for him using the shield that came with the Masterverse Clawful.

@freditor That works really well for Leo. I ended up giving mine the Sword of the Ancients from the Origins Cartoon Collection He-Man. I'm a little torn on it because I think it looks great and very barbarian-y, and reminds me of the sword that came with the Conan-Leo toward the end of the vintage line. On the other hand, there's something weird about Leo not having a more Asian-inspired sword that seems weird to me. So I'm still mulling it over.

He looked really good dual-wielding Ninjor and Slamurai's swords, but I don't think my son is going to give those up.

Had to look up what the Sword of the Ancients looks like and yeah, I can imagine that looking pretty good on him. I too was conflicted on whether I should give him a barbarian type sword or some type of katana... but since I didn't really have a barbarian sword that works, I went with this look (for now).

I'm working on a custom Leo that looks even more like He-Man, I'll post some pics tomorrow

Just got the “Processing Soon” email from BBTS for Raphael, Shredder, Beast Man and Ram Man. The lineup has leaked from a reliable source but I hope Mattel reveals the next wave/waves soon, part of the fun of this line is seeing how they modified the characters.
