Gonna ask this here because I don’t know if the other line even has a thread and this is also a Mattel x TMNT line…
are those WWE Turtle cosplay figures super hard to find or not released yet or what’s going on?
I saw three Kofi Kingstons as Mikey months ago and that was it, didn’t buy them because I wanted to wait for a Circle deal to get a discount or earn a credit, but never saw any of them ever again in store or online.
What’s going on?!
Roman and Kofi have been out. I grabbed them both when I saw them a while ago. Nothing else since then.
@salemcrow I'm pretty sure Xavier Woods was in that selection as well. And then wave 2 is Rey, Seth, and Cody.

I think he was, but I've not seen him at all.
Got a shipping notice for 2-Bopsteady.
Got a shipping notice for 2-Bopsteady.
Mine’s been delayed/backordered to the 19th.
Keep the faith, my He-Man/Vecna two-pack got delayed three times but is now finally arriving today or tomorrow. And these Target exclusive ones have been pretty easy to find online or in store eventually, unlike the damned Walmart ones....
I had to approve a delay on mine as well. I'm fine with it as it gives me a chance to find it in store before fulfillment. None of these Target exclusives have been hard to find for me so I won't lose sleep over the backorder.
mine was also bumped back
... mine showed up today ...
The hell is going on with 2-Bopsteady anyway? Target's release date came and went, and normally...normally...that's the same day for their street date in store. But...nada. I guess we're getting into the season on crazy shipping times, but Damn.
I did see one person on reddit mention finding it in-store on the West Coast, so it's starting to trickle out.
Some of my closest Targets in the Memphis area had him in stock for pick-up this morning, but that's still too far for me to drive. I'm going to wait on my constantly pushed back preorder. He is probably the ToG exclusive I am least excited about. The colors are just so dull to me. I wish he was more vibrant.
Mine finally shipped yesterday, after having me approve a delay as recently as early that same morning. After having two very smooth releases in a row with these Target exclusives, I guess it was too much to assume a third.
Splinter is on clearance by me.
I assembled Metalboto last night. Going to just quickly post my opinions on him and all his BAF set-mates, starting with my least-favorite and working up to favorite (not to be confused with worst-to-best):
Mouse-Jaw - While the Mouser-heavy designs are a lot of fun, he's a big downgrade from the painted prototype. His skin tone is too purple in tone rather than green-blue, and his matte white robot parts look cheap and boring. His blast effect looks like a clear cheeto and went straight into a parts bin. The mouser by itself is a lot of fun and he can get into some interesting robot-mouser arm designs, but he looks lackluster on the shelf.
Sla'ker - Speaking of paint...where is it? This guy needs a lot more. The cyborg section of his head is so hard to make out without paint, I didn't even know it was there until I opened him. His turtle back also needs to fit both his knives instead of just one knife. His size is much more subjective, personally I think he's too big, I would have preferred he be on the turtle buck with a little more paint instead. As is he's...not really a turtle anymore? I don't love this figure but he does have a lot of "toy charm" with his bright colors and design that pops from across the room.
Two-Bopstead - Now this guy should have came on the big body! He's very attractive in his color scheme and the head sculpts look very classic TMNT. His unique sculpted legs look neat and it's clear a lot of effort went into him. Now on to my only real complaint, his accessories. His sword is neat, but why does he have the exact same "ball and chain" hand that Megator Krang has? It fits Android Krang's design much better. It's a fine accessory on it's own, but now I have two villains with the same weapon hand. Put it on a stick so it's a mace or something. Or you know what, just give him a blaster. Bebop/Rocksteady uses a blaster, Two-Bad has a blaster, why not take this opportunity to give a character in this line a blaster?
Metal-Boto - This is a real chunky boy who is a lot of fun but not without some odd choices. First off, visually, he looks great. Clean colors, gorgeous green plastic, the blue painted bits match the blue sculpted bits, I like it a lot. His mouth play action is fun. Only complaint is I wish his elbows had better range.
Splinter-Skull - Splinter just looks so cool this way. I find myself swapping his cape off and on, and even his robe, trying to see what the toughest look is for him. Admittedly a lot of it is nostalgia; there's something satisfying about seeing normally-feeble Splinter buffed up in MOTU form. He looks ready to take on Skeletor and Shredder at the same time. His weapon is neat although I would have liked if the end that doesn't attach to the spear was a classic walking cane design so you could optionally have a more classic Splinter look. If I had a real complaint about this figure, I'd say he might have looked better with the white trim on his robe like in his box illustration. As usual, a little more paint overall wouldn't have hurt.
