@haydencollects I was just thinking the same! The mask is so...small and boring feeling.
Pretty much every other shredder design has something to break up the mask, dividing lines or individual plates or even vents. The helmet's crest is usually more stylized or pronounced or angular and even then the helmets plates arent usually that plain. Only one that doesnt is idw and there the mask is cloth.
On top of that, the mask is weirdly form fitting like the nose is really pronounced
I think it looks great so far, but I don't have a Mirage Shredder yet.
Interested to see what alternative helmets/looks he might come with.
Ohhh shit that neck is LONG lookin, outfits a little too plain too, needs some seam lines. And the pants are untucked.
Mezco figures always look worse in con displays, I swear. Every single one I've been iffy one I started liking a lot more once actual in-hand pics started leaking out.

That Shredder looks like hot garbage, but don't mind me because I think the majority of Mezco figures look like expensive Mego.
Also not my bag, it sort of mystifies me how they can cost so much money for what they are.
Wow, he looks bonkers. Is there a normal figure underneath the clothes? The sash needs to be higher and his pants need to be pulled up. Ultimately a pretty simple outfit to get right but this looks so weird.
So after looking at reviews of these figures, i do like them now LOL i thought they had a huge head but not really after looking at the reviews.
they kinda look like the Playmates movie versions but with more details and better plastic, IMO.
