We all know about the One:12 figures on the way, but today Mezco made their five points version of the Mirage turtles available for pre-order. I will say, while I question the value of the One:12 line, this five points set looks like a pretty good deal. It's 65 bucks and you get the four turtles plus a boatload of interchangeable parts including legs and arms so even though the articulation count is low, they're pretty damn poseable. It's a hell of a lot better than ReAction. Even so, I don't think I need this, but I bet others feel differently. It's up on Mezco's site now, but it doesn't say exclusive on it so I think it will be solicited to other retailers, but I don't know that for sure. Ships next year, Feb - April.

They're up on BBTS as well.

Pretty cool, and the comparison to ReAction makes them look even better.  But I can't do turtles without ankle articulation.  Still a nice set though.

Wow, that really is a ton of stuff. Might as well throw in some extra bodies and give us spare full turtles! What they're offering definitely helps to justify the price. They're not actually 5poa figures.

I think it's a little weird to include so many swappable limbs instead of just making the figures more articulated.   Maybe their license is restricted though.  And yes, I'm are these are called 5POA, but I think they technically have more POA.

I’m the same as Misfit, I don’t need these but they do look a lot cooler than I was expecting and better value as well with all the extra arms and legs.

Got notice that these guys are processing. Based on the amount of time it took between these notices and when F4 and Doom got delivered, I should see the Turtles in a month.

@normdapito is that a processing for the 5 POA or the One:12 set? If One:12, that has to be a record turn-around for Mezco as I figured they'd take years to fulfill.

I didn’t order the 5poa set. So it must be One:12. I looked at my order date, January of last year. That IS fast for them.

Of course my payment failed even though it's the exact same payment they took for the last three orders which they fulfilled. Updated, will see when it goes through.

I ordered mine from eCollectibles, and I'm keeping every finger and toe crossed that they don't drop the preorder. Really excited for this set after initially sleeping on it.

First review I've seen of this set! I'm not sure if I need it--I've had tons of the NECA figures over the years, and I'm happy with the few figures I've held onto from their cartoon line--but these did turn out really nice! For something I initially had pretty much no interest in, they are tempting 😆
