I know you're (half)kidding, but TMNT has so much more appeal to the masses than Gargoyles. Gargoyles is such a niche property, it's probably not really worth it for any company to pursue product for it. Now, they could make some generic non-branded gargoyles with some texture and "stone" paint apps. Those may even sell better as they could fit in with tons of other lines.
The size of these Heatboys TMNT figures is a bit offputting. I think they look nicer than the Memory ones (too ripped, tiny heads). And I bet these are really nice figures and would pop on a shelf and in hands. The size just puts them in no mans land for me. They wouldn't really pair with anything else. Unless you want some of the oversized figures from other lines to not be oversized after all.
Hmm, I think these are both too big and I like the Mety Toys ones more. Which, hey, it's nice to not be tempted yet again! Between Fury Toys, Mety, Joy Toy, and Heat Boys' own mech-turtles, I've got quite enough imported TMNT stuff to ponder, thanks.
@ashtalon I assume he's mostly being playful, but there is some truth to what he says. At some point, we will hit the market saturation point where fans will look at yet another take on the turtles and think they've had enough. At the same time, there are a fair amount of Gargoyles fans within its fanbase that are probably more than willing to buy into a second line. Is that number greater than the segment of the TMNT fanbase looking to buy the 10th, 12th, iteration of their favorite characters? I don't know where the line intersects, but I do have to believe we're at least getting close to the saturation point for TMNT.
ToyArk's got pics of the translucent/gold versions of some of the mechs here, and also the first pics I've seen of the transforming tank Raphael mech. Also note that the article is mislabeled, the regular TMNT figures pictured in it are from Mety Toys, not Heat Boys.

Also, they missed some pics of the Shredder mech from the same source:
And see, now these do nothing for me. Not that they look awful or anything, they just look kinda generic. Finally, a new TMNT offering to NOT fall into!
Really? They actually look really good to me! But I've dipped into just about every available iteration, even imports at this point, and I'm starting to get burnt out. The Protos look amazing, but price will be the deciding factor. And see, now these do nothing for me. Not that they look awful or anything, they just look kinda generic. Finally, a new TMNT offering to NOT fall into!
These are from the same company that made the mechs?
I think they look pretty cool, but they're not something I want. Similar approach to Mety Toyz where they have more generic superhero proportions and musculature despite the fact that they're turtles. There's just only so much one can do with TMNT that a lot of these other designs are starting to have a very "same" feeling about them. That's why I think we're guaranteed to get Next Mutation turtles from someone for the simple reason that it hasn't been done yet (not that I'm asking for them).
I'm definitely not saying they look bad, they just don't stand out to me design-wise. I just look at them and go "yup, that's a Ninja Turtle", not like "cool! fun/interesting/etc. take on a Ninja Turtle!". I know folks complain about some of the other offerings, like Fury's, having too small of heads. I don't agree with that at all, but to me, these ones have too BIG of heads. But I've learned my tastes don't always jibe with others' when it comes to TMNT.
Shredder Mech looks fantastic but I gotta draw that line somewhere so I think Donnie’s the last one for me.
